Yes we just bought a Harris this year and we have problems and we do not know who to contact because our dealer will not help us out at Devils Lake our 200 horse mercury is heading the boat and he will not help us who do I call her to talk to

@@HarrisPontoonBoats thank you sir. Prior to the virus they said Memorial day. But PLEASE keep your workers safe, stop producing if you need to. It's just a boat. There is always next summer if this is needed!!! If we all stopped, it might be that we save a lot of lives.

@@bigpappajr7854 yes,we sure did, thank you. It was delayed a couple months with the virus shut down but we rec'd it 2 days before Memorial day weekend. I have to tell you it was a huge hit for us. Coming up from a Bayliner...night and day in stability and power too, but the biggie was comfort!! Our lake place is a very big lake with 2 large bays primarily. A little wind and its filled with white caps and in the summer with all the playboats of every size, even up to cigarette boats and house boats... and about a jillion wake boats, the lake has always got 2-3 foot rollers by 11AM.... it's a mess (to me as a fisherman, but our family likes to tube) The Harris just glides over those 2-3 foot rollers like it was nothing. The Mercury 200 has plenty of hole shot for skiers and we've had up to 5 adults on a big mable tube. Gas burn is a lot less than the bayliner, and we got the double bimini tops... don't always have both up, but man is it nice to have them when it's over 100 degrees and the sun is baking hot. We got the double captains chairs and that has been a huge plus since it's my wife and I alone a lot (3 hour drive to our lake where this boat is) the family members come and go here and there, but mostly it's just us. The 2 Captains chairs are amazing for us to share the experience together. We didn't miss a single weekend this summer. It was hard to winterize the boat, but it was a Blessing for sure. I'd never spend that much on a bass boat for just me... but since everyone likes this Harris so much it makes it easier to think about. I also think us getting 20 years of use out of this boat is easy to see... and if I divide the price by 20 it makes it seem easier, haha. We looked at a lot of tritoons, but my wife really wanted the Harris. It's definitely a luxury model compared to other makers...even if it's not the top of the Harris line. We never get gas without someone saying nice things about it.

I sold my 23’ Skeeter center console bay boat to buy this Harris. I feel it will be much more enjoyable for my wife and I will our 4 children. Thanks again! I’ll let you know how it goes.

BUYER BEWARE! Here's the major problem with HARRIS! They are Beautiful boats BUT BUYER BEWARE..If shopping for a pontoon do not buy a Harris Boat! I lost over 1 year of my 5 year warranty while waiting for under-warranty standard Pontoon parts and am still waiting! I guess that's the benefit of what they call lean manufacturing....? If your boat encounters a problem... you're screwed because the Five Year warranty doesn't guarantee turn-around time. Never thought to ask that question during the buying process! Specifically... Just found out that after paying $120k for a Harris that a broken (under warranty) seal on a Crown 250 pontoon will sideline your boat for months! Yes... MONTHS! Apparently they don't stock parts at Harris despite having a 5 year warranty. Its happened to me twice leading to over 1 year without a functioning boat! Shame on Ft Myers Marine Max for not disclosing this during the sales process! But don't take my word for it... At least call service department over at Marine Max Ft. Myers and have Ken explain, so you know what you are getting into.... might be better to look at a Bennington... shame because its a good looking, spacious boat and my on-board Mercs kicks butt!

How do I find the construction of the pontoon itself, the inside of a national pontoon.

Okie Rider Depends upon ones bank account. For a large, heavy, and powerful, pontoon boat, that not bad,a'tall. Watercraft, will never get the fuel economy of land vehicles. May have something to do with the resistance of the water, reckon?
Maybe. I feel that boats require a lot more rpm to accelerate, thus lowering the overall efficiency. And you might be right when it comes to drag, since the entire hull is in the water when accelerating, whereas in like a car you have minimal drag , and only four concentrated points on the road which are the tires.
I have 24 foot pontoon I get 3 miles per gallon at 18 mph you can have that economical piece of shit at 1.5 miles per gallon,
