Ford Fiesta mk4 Revival 1999 1.25 zetec 16k miles.
I got a phone call about a car asking if I wanted to buy it, one owner from new 16k miles been off the road 6 years. How could I say no! so I now have a mk4 fiesta zetec in blue. Join me as I go through the car and get it running again and get it ready for a mot. It still had its original tyres, timing belt and spark plugs.

Since I sold my 76 K5 Blazer back in 2016 I regretted it, I found this Surburban on marketplace and couldn't resist especially when my wife said that's got your name on it you need to go and buy it! Now the better weather is on the way I have been doing some more on my patio project, I have been using my 27 year old Benford LS mixer to mix up large quantities of concrete to lay a path. The mixer handles this with ease and surprises me how quickly I can get my path made up! this will be beneficial when I am laying my concrete pad for my garage. #concrete #concretemixermachine

Here's a list of the parts I have used on my dynastarter conversion on my dumper truck, I didn't have a crank handle for the ph2 so did an electric starter conversion using a dynastarter which not only cranks the engine but then charges the battery once started. Hopefully this will be helpful, I will include a wiring diagram at some point too.

This week I have been working on a 1984 Austin Mini Mayfair, its in lovely condition and it's beige paintwork really sets it off. I had forgotten how small a proper Mini is and how simple the mechanics are on one. Needless to say I throughly enjoyed having it at my workshop.

I have done some more work on the Land Rover series 2a rebuilding the front axle, I replace the brake cylinders, shoes and drums, spring bushes, locking tabs etc. I also replace the diff pan as it had rusted through. It is not the original 2a axle as I find out its from a series 3 1980 to 1985. Join me as I go through the axle and carry out repairs.

I liked these cars they were awesome, in billions of ways and my dad owned one for 3 years it was silver and an estate a 1 point 6 litre engine.
being a retro car does it have asbestos?
I think they phased out using asbestos in the early 90s I can't find out much more then that.
140 gear oil not 90..
I had three old seagulls sold them to Saving Old Seagull Guy who moors his yacht in same Marina as me.. Used money to get new internal tank for my Tohatsu 2.3hp motor..
I had a tohatsu 30 on my old Mayland it was a good motor, I use a 4hp yamaha on my little boat, I will hopefully run the seagull on it too and do a video using the seagull.

Hey man Really good video I have mine but is not powerful at all it struggles going up hill and the engine is very loud also noticed a major oil leak under the vacuum pump Does this engine mean to be very powerful?
Hi, thanks the 3.0 m57 is only around 180bhp so it's not the fastest having said that mine doesn't struggle on hills and it tows my 3ton digger very well! Is it engine oil leaking or fuel? I had a fuel leak from the mechanical pump on the engine.
Do you know how to get the discs ?of as I can't seem to free mine ro replace the bearings
I think they are on a tapered shaft they are bloody tight! A good puller should remove the discs!

Hello you can check if you have a 20 block or a 205 block as bearings and other parts are different. A pinto engine is not too difficult to get parts for.

My friend just bought a 2005 Range Rover Vogue L322 today with the same engine as the one featured in this video, a TD6 3.0 Litre BMW M57 (D30). First stop is the Shell petrol station to put in a full tank of V-Power Diesel, then head to a hand car wash to detail it, and then next week off to a Range Rover specialist to have it fully serviced. Your video was quite good, thanks for uploading it.
Good description of the process but I would have taken the fuel tank and filter out, even though it is a Diesel.

Thankyou Phil, I have done a few boot floors now! Take your time cutting it out if you have a good edge that can be salvaged from the side floors around the wheel tubs. Good luck Rich
Did this originally come with a cover over the carb intake to stop water splash or spray entering the carb? Can you fill the head with salt-away, muriatic acid, CLR or similar and let it sit and percolate a while to help clean the passages in the block....? You may have to place the machine in a funny position so the exit tell tale hole is uppermost...and fill it from there.... Do you have the 25:1 needle in so you can use a good TCW3 (water-cooled outboard engine) 2 stroke synthetic mixing oil.... that would cut a huge amount of smoke output....
I think it should have a air filter trumpet type thing on it, I am hoping to get it on the water powering a small boat for a test video.

Love the early Fiesta’s, so pure and honest. After the bodywork, service etc, all it needs is a passenger door mirror & a Lumenition electronic ignition and away it goes! I’m an ex-Ford technician, the Lumenition will transform the engine and the drive ability! Great video, subscribed!

I have looked into getting it registered to use on the road but need some info from Yamaha regarding the build year, etc. I have been riding it around the farm, i need to make a decision about what to do next!

I will tell you what I use to clean up the primer for the spot welds, I get an 6 or 8mm drill bit and grind the end flat, fits through the hole and preps the exact area to weld 👌 stepdad passed that on to me.

Contemplating a method of starting mine using cordless drill. Your pulley system looks interesting as in place of the dynastart would be a pulley with hex nut for drill connection.
Owned my mk1 Capri since 1978,a 2000gtxlr with a V4 engine, fitted a 4.2 E type Jag engine in 1989 then took it off the road four years later with a blown piston and sadly never got it sorted but now determined to get it going again before my 70th birthday next year,the car I always promised myself............
What was it like with the jaguar engine fitted? I would imagine it pulled well!

It was a 190mm pulley for an inch and half shaft or 38mm it was the biggest pulley I could get. It's got a keyway onto the end of the crank and gears the dynastarter down well.
