zhlédnutí 491Před 3 lety
In this module, we use the Harvard Step Test to assess the effects of age on cardiovascular fitness. Materials needed for this experiment include a pool of healthy, willing participants of various ages, a step (16-20' in height), 1-2 stopwatches, a metronome, OR a song with a tempo of 120 BPM.
Cardiovascular Physiology Lab, Part 3 of 4
zhlédnutí 569Před 3 lety
In this experiment, we assess the effects of body position on heart rate and blood pressure. Materials needed include a willing participant, a stethoscope, and a sphygmomanometer. Heart rate and blood pressure are recorded while the volunteer is sitting and reclining as well as immediately after standing and after prolonged standing.

I must admit your humor makes these lectures very easy to watch
Thanks 👍
Why is there no mention of transitional epithelium?
Thank you so much!
Thank you for your great videos! It would be nice if you can re record this video in particular cuz it keeps disconnecting somehow. Maybe it’s the poor video quality? It sounds like you keep repeating yourself. Normally you wouldn’t. I appreciate it!
I’m literally sighing of relief. My text book does such a shitty job of describing how this works. Thank you so much ❤
You are the best professor in teaching anatomy and physiology! Thank you so much for all your video lectures!
Thanks
It si very important
I work in a hematology lab at 2:39 it is not a Eos, Eos has clear red dots.
Perfectly short and understantable
Great video. Sad your machine broke.
Very helpful content Love from Pakistan ❤
У вас зонты стоят наоборот. Это зонты на просвет, а расположены, как буд-то это зонты на отражение
My alumni
great breakdown! You are a great teacher. I completely understood everything you discussed in this video. thank you!

Great lecture!
I like the way it presented if you can spend more time on explaining each of the endocrine organs little slowly and briefly can help..... but you're doing amazing work
You are so fast..
Please tell me in Telugu
Thank you! This has been so helpful while I’m in VTech school!
Thank you!
I wish you were my professor, mine just said read the lab manual 😭
Thank you for this! Where can we find and answer the quiz you have shown in the video? 😃
how long do it take from 36% to 38-39% in women?
what are you doing? dont real counter slide have a "grid system" and you count whats inside a grid?
I think you are referring to a hemacytometer which you can use to estimate absolute numbers of wbcs. A differential wbc count is typically conducted on a dried blood smear and examines relative proportions of wbcs.
@@rosslangstonify i still dont understand????? you randomly moved the slide, then you saw and counted.. then you randomly moved the slide again and counted...WTH were you counting relative to what ??? relative to what? relative to where on the slide???
@@lunam7249 i think you need to chill out bro. he was doing a 100 wbc diff with a battlement pattern. until he counts up 100 wbc then his relative wbc count is done. please know the difference between relative count vs absolute count.
@@gto11520 thx 4 your "help".....wbc is vague, nuetrophil, basophil, ect....what is he looking for?your saying hes trying to get the relative percentages?
How especial Tnxs for your explanation
Great
I am interested in getting pharaoh hound into lire coursing. Can you give any info for a the club in the video?
Thanks
This course help me a lot thanks sir

I'm a Vet student from sudan and ur lectures is very important to me and help me alot Thanks for sharing to us teacher
Thanks, Tasnem. I am glad the lectures are helpful! Best wishes for a fulfilling career in veterinary medicine!
This dude wasted too much time with fake Chariots of Fire drama clip and didn’t complete his protracted experiments 🤣. Don’t bother watching it’s a complete waste of time! No conclusion to this pretend experiment!
If you listen to the recording, it is for a specific class and the recordings were being sent to that class.
NADLAB? That's funny. I used this video for my A & P virtual laboratory in American Samoa (American Samoa Community College) while we are in lock down. Good job!
Awesome! I was out there in 2017 for a fisheries workshop. I Gave a guest lecture in Mike Hansell's class about our vet tech program. I love your campus (and island!)
@@rosslangstonify Cool! I have worked with Mike for many years. Take care
Why is there a slow motion at the epo??😂
Bc I mistakenly said EPO came from the juxtaglomerular cells when it really comes from interstitial fibroblasts!
Thanks for explanation
You are very creative, we wish you a beautiful day🌺🌺
