Nope would not want a bed on the floor especially on carpet because the dust mites and dust leaving the legs on. It would not have made it too high for a child to get in and out of.

I love they can get in and out of the beds but my dog will definitely think it’s his 😂

I have four from eggs and brought two older one from a farm .. the four baby was close to me but then the older one came and now they only follow her..I will do this though. Thanks a whole bunch.

Turn the roof tin correctly, a coon or coyote or fox would be under that so quick you would never know it. Bumps, dips and uneven yards would make it even easier.

Currently have one little chick I've had them about for 3 to 4 weeks one of my main concerns is if they become lonely. I usually have to go to school so I'm gone for the day but my brother is home but I'm worried that my brother's company is not enough. But thinking about getting a chicken cope eventually, whats the earliest I should consider getting more company for them if at all?

My two chickens died by a snake

Ya know, when I was little, my mom and dad bought a crib from a Canadian company from Babys R Us. It was supposed to have a conversion kit that you buy separately. They never made it. My parents would have loved this crib. Also, it seems like a cool idea, the floor bed.

I just got 5 miniature hens at about a month old. They were hand raised so they’re halfway cuddly but I still need to warm there trust

One thing that everyone does not touch on on their videos, and even in the installation manual itself is whether or not the door entrance should be flush with the interior timber/floor of the door or higher. Mine is currently higher and Im concerned that they are fully stepping on the plastic of the door to get in and out (which is part of the railing of the door closure/opening) and must be kept clean and damage free from their feet/claws for it to operate properly and for longevity. I believe if you have it low enough, they could avoid stepping on the plastic door railing altogether, only you are making the door entry smaller by doing so.
