Can I rent a top notch condo like this one for $400-500? I plan on moving to Bangkok and would want to live at the beste area there is and not make a mistake. How do I know where I should live?

Very clean place. Bought a small condo brand new with a Thai partner and its now always filthy with clutter, roaches, food laying out for days and stinky Fish Sauce (Rotten Fish) .

I can't wait to "retire" in Thailand. My plan is to spend several months at a time in Thailand and come back and forth throughout the year

Most men who complain about Thai women only wanting money, usually are only familiar with bar girls... What do you expect... In the western world, if you only have exposure to prostitutes, you will have the same experience... Normal people from any culture are reasonably normal too...Gentleman generally are attractive to respectable women... Respectable women expect to be treated with respect too... It's not hard...
