The very reason for separating is getting money for a wife. She leaves early morning and comes back late home just to show this is my home hence I can sleep here. She is exercising her rights on all physical properties and money investments but not doing anything towards kids care or making any efforts to win their heart . She has zero interest for kids in leaving from marriage . And more than anything kids absolutely don’t want I live with their mother. Right now and from last 20 years they are raising under grandma care and dad care primarily . How csn custody be decided 50/50 if the other one hardly has any interest for kids . And more over kids do not have any bonding towards mother . Please guide , my family member is going through divorce in British Columbia currently and he is very concerned about kids

The reason divorce happens in the first place is because one of the parents has a personality disorder diagnosed or not... I will bet my house on it the one who initiated the divorce is a narcissits or sociopath who got caught having their cake and eating it too and their sense of entitlement and lack of empathy is what causes them to not give a SH&t about the damage they are doing to their kids but to maintain that power and control best believe they will make false allegations of DV and whatever else they can throw at the wall and see if it will stick.. czcams.com/video/vmdNjwpRjjI/video.html&ab_channel=HGTudor-KnowingTheNarcissist%3AUltra

If custody battles create stress on parents, because they now risk losing custody...and if the child is stressed by the circumstance...then a lot of this is driven by family court judges. This is especially true, when on Day 1 of court appearances, when the judge is the most ignorant person in the room. The judge doesn't know either parent or the children. Yet, so often, the judge rubberstamps the mother for primary custody. This starts the war, which is totally unnecessary. In the US, mothers get custody 85-95% of the time...and I have seen this happen because judges actively ignore the best interest factors, and instead just rationalize why the mother should have custody based on only 1 convenient factor. If judges issued 50/50 custody on Day 1...it would eliminate a lot of the anxiety. It took me 3+ years to undo the gender bias and incompetence of the family court judge...to ultimately get custody of our son...in his Actual best interests. (The mother was violent, and suicidal, but the judge kept rubberstamping her before the Final Custody Order.) But I do agree that it's much better for parents to go to a Family Psychologist to help create a parenting plan that is best for the family...instead of going to court. Psychologists are 20 times smarter than judges/lawyers on these matters.

An abusive husband can never be a great father, what example is he laying out for his kids?? That his male child can beat the shit out of his wife or that his daughter should settle for an abusive partner. A bad person is a bad parent, no two ways about it.

Great Video except for ONE area that seems to never be addressed. And this is an area that the majority of men face with their ex's. And this area is: when your ex JUST REFUSES to work or continuously (seemingly purposefully) gets fired after a short period OF employment. In other words, .. what to do when your ex-spouse .. "just doesn't W A N N A work at all" ... THEN what? Why does the person who IS EMPLOYED hafta be penalized for the person that JUST DOESN'T WANNA work, ever.

  • @thesecrettragedyclothingco7194

Ive been separated for over 6 yrs. I had shared custody until I started setting boundaries over cohersive control. I had social services help me when the mother was hitting my son. Hes 9 now. Ive been denied access for 5 weeks now. I went to.mediation and the mother was invited and she refused. She is out for blood and complete control. As far as she's concerned our son is hers and hers alone. I can see parental alienation happening right now and she refusing to co parent or communicate. I have no choice but to go to court. I could easily prove her abusive ways but it woukd only hurt my son. I just want to see him and have the mother leave me to be the great father that I am. Ive always been her punching bag or cash point. Its been relentless. Every holiday and every opertunity to abuse has been taken. Her last move was to throw all the pieces and the board onto the fire. That includes herself and my son just to punish me. At first I thought bitterness..then menopause.. then one of the many personalty disorders now I fear a form of alzheimers..her mother and her mother before that were diagnosed at age 50.. my ex is now 47.. the childish behaviour, the aggression and the irrational responses are all to familiar. We watched it eat her mother alive. How can I go to court without dropping bombs. I dont want war but I can see it coming my way... I already feel like Pearl Harbour. The police have told me the would arrest her for her last outburst and im torn as to let them or not. I feel like me and my son are like lambs to the slaughter against her accusations if I don't. She doesn't react or respond rationally ever. I feel sorry for her but I feel worse for my son. We are both in the flames and the court thing can't come quick enough. Either way his mother is out of control and she's willing to open pandoras box. This is tuff...real tuff.

Thank you for this calm sensible advice. Often children are used as pawns in a battle between their parents. Your sensible advice to keep the main focus on what is best for the children was clearly and effectively delivered. This video has reframed our situation to focus on the child, and how to best parent him. The adult part is an adult problem, but custody is no longer the focus in our case. How to best raise our child is.
