I’m a Lakers fan so there’s no way I’m rooting for the Celtics (even though Tatum is from my hometown). But a lot of people get caught up in hype. 1st it was the Nuggets, then the Wolves, now the Mavs. But look… 1. The Celtics have the best defensive backcourt in the league. 2. We’ve seen what Tatum and Brown did to KD so they’ll be able to switch on screens and do pretty good on Luka and Ky, and 3. Boston hasn’t forgotten when Kyrie abandoned them in that game 7 and then left for Brooklyn the next yr. This Finals won’t be a cakewalk for Dallas

I think everyone is spoiled by Wemby, a rookie who turned 20 this January. When referring to Lively, it might be appropriate to mention he is actually a younger rookie than Wemby (he turned 20 this February): who has never played professional basketball; who missed early games in his one season at Duke and even after beginning to play had his minutes limited while battling a calf injury; who missed over 20 games for the Mavs this season due to an ankle injury - and, on top of all that, his primary mentor, best friend and “superhero”, his (Penn State basketball star) mother, after a long battle with cancer, died in April (he was with her through it all). This kid has been incredible and just keeps getting better and better.
