A 24 year old rookie who isn't fast and had a very average senior year. He was torched by the one good team on their schedule. Eli Apple was a 1st Round pick with 1st Round traits. If this kid becomes a boundary starter we are in trouble. We can always hope for the best, but usually only 2 or 3 players from each draft pan out as quality contributors I would hope that those are Mims, Jenkins and Burton.

Erick Hall had a herniated disc in his back that resulted in his back surgery. Same injury that Gronk had when Gronk played football at Arizona. The difference was Gronk's herniated disc impinged on a nerve; therefore, Gronks injury was more serious. The back doesn't worry me as much as his torn ACL. Erick runs alot of slants, and consequently, the stability and surrounding muscle strength in his knee joint is critical. Will he have the agility he needs to run those slants? That's the question for me. Erick's rehab of his knee is consequential to his career and his role as a TE. I like Erick's physical characteristis that are similar to both Gronk's and Kelce's. He is stronger, bigger, runs great slants, but is slower than a wide-out. If his rehab efforts on the knee are positive, this player is deffinately an impact player! I can't imagine that the Bengals didn't do an exhaustive vetting on both injuries that Erick had. So I'm betting on a positive outcome for Erick and the Bengals'team.

Hated the pick. We could have added a lot of needed speed to our offensive backfield with that pick. The Tennessee running back still on the board ran a sub-4.4 40 and averaged over 7 y.p.c.

Dude he is recovering from an ACL. He wont be ready until latter half of the year. He'll likely miss all of training camp. We have Five count them five tight ends including the other guy drafted. There is no guarantee he'll be good with his knee after recovery. What most fans think he would have been available at a later round. With his pick we could have gotten a decent CB prospect, or a RB or an interior lineman (guard) because none of our backups at guard are anywhere near starting quality. All these were more pressing needs for THIS YEAR. The fact they took another tight end in the 6th round reinforces that they are no counting on him playing this year and if thats the case wait until next year to draft another TE if its still a position of need. He could turn out to be fine but look at Burrow and his recovery from the ACL. It took half the following season before Joe was right and trusted his knee. Maybe the plan of Pitcher is to run a lot of 12 and 13 personnel groupings since we have not improved the running back room nor have we improved the interior O line unless the 7th round center is the drafts steal, he isnt going to start in front of Karas. We're going to need to justify that those roster positions with play on the field. I hope i am proven wrong. He has potential i agree but that assumes his back and his knee remain 100% good. i just doubt he can help this year.

One of the best locker rooms for Jermaine to land in is Cinci. That room is solid: great camaraderie and established standards. Jermaine has demonstrated he wants to get better at wide out. For about two years Jermaine has been training with a former Bengals' WR, TJ Housh, (Bengals 2001.) Want's nothing more than to meet Joe, Ja'Marr, Tee, Charlie and Yosh. Chill everyone, Jermaine will be fine!
