I am so disappointed with the water coaster. My first instinct was to drop it down into some water. Much to my surprise, tunnel pieces showed up. I would have loved it if this coaster would have allowed for just building in water so I could have a large section of dark-ride boating followed by some coaster action. Thanks for the video - it explained things better.

Here are some tricks for you are your friend. You can use arcane (red), with shield, to make MINES! they’re really powerful. Also, you can make ice with snow and water, poison with water and arcane, and steam with Fire and Water. Hope this helps you!

Well that's not really a fair comparison between platinum and complete. I have the Platinum version of steam before it went away and you can easily set the resolution to a 1.77 ratio of 1080p or 720. It's just an app data file and you type in your resolution and you're done. If you were to compare both games at the same 1080P and same ratio I doubt that there's any noticeable difference in reality. The only problem with older games without scalable UI is that at 1080p the UI is absolutely dinky. If they put an old game back on steam and are charging people they should at least take the time to make a scalable UI so 1080 could be proper what's a nice size UI. I never understood that. I could see the very original game but not going back on steam years later to not have a scalable UI.

Damn this brings back memories. I remember capturing in game footage was SLOW. 1, maybe 2 fps maximum. There was this plugin created by the community that worked as a path programmer for the camera. You would create a path for the in game camera to follow so you could make all these cool cinematic shots and so you wouldnt have to try to make any camera moves at 1fps, youd run it a couple times to make sure it looked good, then you would do a recording run that took a million years. Then you'd record the ride, which took even longer, and then comp it all in Windows Movie Maker to upload to CZcams and show off on the community forums.

I believe that planet coaster is CPU bound, that would explain why the game lags when there are a lot coasters, because coasters can't be static (like terrain), because then you would not be able to edit them in real time. This means that the cpu constantly has to calculate the state of each coaster along all of it's tracks, which will cost lot of cpu capacity. This also explains buildings, because that created a frame rate dip aswell. Buildings are heavy for the cpu because it also needs to calculate the location off all the pieces in the building if you were to edit them, just like with the coasters. while scenery does not need a lot of cpu power to calculate what to edit because it isn't editable like coasters and buildings are being edited.

I’m new to the series, question, are npcs are able to steal from you even if you remove the fusion core? Can I make a solo settlement or add a safe/bunker? 😅 I left the bunker to move into another one I know but this wouldn’t happened

Really late comment, but i had the same thought about schooling and shoaling. And shoaling is correct. Shoaling is staying in a group. Schooling is shoaling moving together in the same direction.
