When I was there in 1971 it was a sewer and here it is 2024 and it’s still a sewer
Germans aren't unfriendly they're just reserved. On the other hand My daughters school had a cultural exchange program and the girls were friendly, funny and enjoyed teasing me. I was very surprised at some of the things they said to me in German.
Arnold Schwarzenegger spliced with Ryan Reynolds.
*laughs in german*
it's wholesome!
Lol funny guy
I have no idea how everyone is getting “weirdo” vibes from this guy I thought he was really wholesome
He’s just German
his laugh kills me lmfao
You guys are weird. . . (Commenters)
Is the young lady talking about something different because INTERNALIZED RACISM refers to a form of self-loathing based on the cognitive and emotional acceptance by individuals of an oppressed group of all or some aspects of the negative stereotypes ...
She’s sharing her experience with having internalized racism growing up…her feelings and experience are valid
I thought she may have been meaning to say covert racism. That is sad,, she felt that way and I am happy she got through ththi s challenge. I lived in Chester Hill with a lot of Vietnamese and thought that the way the Vietnamese played marbles and ate with their hands while sitting very unique and very "COOL" and they where kick are at marbles, it was the 70s.
Everyone givi by this guy such a hard time jesus
For all you half-wits harping on this man for being weird, German culture is typically brusk and serious, and can often seem quite cold. Especially with the older generation, sounds of laughter or joy are somewhat rare. That is why he said you have to go “to the basement” to laugh. He is obviously not wired that way.
Weirdoooo
How?
@@skyetran serial killer vibes loool
Stay away from this man
Why? He’s awesome
He looks like Walter from "Traumfrau gesucht" ☠️😂
Germany is depressing as fuck
:/
Laid back culture is not sa thải (laid off) , it is cà tàn, ung dung (unhurried, relaxed in style) 🥰, btw love your video, subscribed 🤩
It's sounds like I had leave my country because I'm a weirdo
I like his laughing out loud 😆❤
It’s sincere
người việt mà làm sub như ....
The "laid back culture" was not translated correctly. However, the next sentence with "laid back" was translated correctly :)
Im from Brazil, ASIA is very secure if compare with another countries the valours are different Im very happy to be in Thailand for 3 months... will visite Vietnan soon.
risky af 🙂
It's kinda weird to not look at the people you interview when you ask them questions and when they reply to you, it made me feel like you don't care about what you're doing/what they're saying, and made me disconnected from the interview as a viewer.
I am Vietnamese 🇻🇳 What is your nationality? Do you love Vietnam? Because every time I meet foreigners in Vietnam, I feel very happy and proud, so not just once but I invite you to come explore Vietnam many times. 😀🇻🇳😉
Hello Hoang, I'm American...Vietnam has been great!
I love Sky's style,a beauty also
You know Vietnamese are 25% to 40% Black. With new DNA research, we have a lot of Sunderland mixture. I will use a N word which is the name of people, but I think my comments are getting banned for it. Im Vietnamese too. Surprised me, yet I think it is cool. Vietnamese, Cambodian, Indonesian, Thai, Filipinos have Sunderland Black mixture in them too. Vietnameses have the most East Asian mixture out of South East Asia. Cambodians are mainly Sunderland Black and Filipinos are only 36% East Asian. Race is truly a social construct if they call Cambodians Asian when they are mainly Black and it seems to be more South Asian (Asian Indian) than East Asian. My exes were Cambodians.
Hi Alex, where could I read about this research? :)
sources?
You should be more proud of your culture to overcome racism 😂
She is proud of her culture…she’s sharing her past experience
others have mentioned it but i think you would benefit a lot from having better translation for subtitles, both English & Viet. they're a bit all over the place atm :( nonetheless very interest takes from all 3 of them. my south african girl (her old HR is from Bến Hoà btw not Bến Thành) pls look out for urself still! things can get crazy there real quick
The Vietnamese translation is pretty bad lol, even worse than Google Translate.
Hello! I can design better than your designer. You try one more thing with me.

People aren't allowed on motorbikes in England? Didn't know that. But then, I wouldn't know much about it - I only lived there for 40 years.
To clarify, she meant the motorbike traffic in Vietnam would be wild if it were back in England and the chaos wouldn’t happen there
This is so diverse!!! Good content. The interviewer is so bright and friendly! Such a good interviewer making everyone feels welcoming.
Appreciate you!
Skye, next round ask your guests if they feel a sense of belonging in VN. Aak if part of their reason in living in VN is to find that sense.
That’s a great question! Thank you
I can't with the average looking aussie guy rating women's looks and suggesting Time Zone as a date location. It got even more cringey when he started back peddling and gaslighting. He's also contradicting himself in the qualities he's saying he wants in a women.
Great video!
Thank you
I used to live in Cambodia. So many of my roommates had babies with women in Vietnam. They had to make their visa runs to Cambodia. They loved Vietnam so much and said that they were so happy. I hope I find that happyness too when I visit Vietnam for the first time!

Welcome Tom! Where in Canada are you based?
German guy laughing about their own piss poor humor, makes it even more hilarious because Germany is terrible place to be friendly and humourous 😂
I think Vietnam changed him 💫
The Germans are so fresh! Im sure her Father is a really good role model for her :) And the Zambia Guy, great guy. Really nice to see how they all enjoying their lives over there
@@DigitalTradeSpot the Germans were a delight!! Humphrey was wonderful too

One thing i noticed in these videos is how reliant on Grab tourists generally are, because even tho you can drive motorbikes under 50 cc without a license, the traffic might be a bit overwhelming for a lot of people. And i'm not sure about the costs of renting a motorcycle and paying for the gas vs just using Grab for all your traveling (i'm pretty sure it's more cost effective to drive yourself vs Grab-ing everywhere) but having your own motorbike even under 50cc gives you so much more freedom when traveling as opposed to traveling with a tour group on a tour bus for example.
The German's were hillarious! We go to the basement to laugh lol I enjoy people with a sense of humour
there were both great to have
Love these interviews Skye a lot of good insight, Keep them coming!

Thanks for all the videos Sky.. love the contents.. one of the content i would like see is how are "viet kieu" treated compared to non-vietnamese tourists. I find that the westerners are treated better than us "viet kieu"
That could be an interesting topic…there are tips I could share as Viet Kieu
hi- uuseful ,
