Walking through the town's square, we happened upon this. (And later came the dancing.) Prague, December 13, 2008.
What dance is this? I have to admid until now I've always only had my focus on Moravian dance and music culture (especially Slovácko). And of course all of their krojs over there. Bohemia always was to me so German-like from what I knew (I'm German myself) and due to that somehow not as... exciting. But I want to change that. Since I'm learning Czech (for over a year now), I want to know all of Czechia and all of it's culture. And this dance looks pretty nice! Love every dance that includes jumping and stomping and just a certain amount of wildness ;D Of course this is not comparable to slovácko verbuňk or sth, but it's pretty aesthetic still and I want to learn more about it :)
