Pretty sure the slayer helm only helps to not get the cough in masses? So there's no point in bringing it in a small team. Just don't stand next to the cougher. EDIT: nope, you're right. A slayer helm does halve the cough time. Don't think it's worth an inventory space though. Eitherway you're sipping a super restore so you might as well bring an extra restore instead of the helm.
So in small mans you will see a "ct" (Caugh tank). Slayer helm helps get rid of caugh almost instantly, whilst if you dont have a slayer helmet, its random who gets the caugh, and it will last much longer draining your stats at the same time. So its MUCH more worth for a person to just bring the slayer helmet, and tank the caugh. In these small mans everyone is pretty much wearing whats considered "max" gear for small teams, so veryy different from masses. So if u bring a slayer helmet in small teams you will ALWAYS get the caugh :)
@@KingTander Hmm you may be right considering you do 2 hits with reduced stats with the slayer helm vs 4 hits with reduced stats without it. However the person who gets the cough is never random. It's ALWAYS consistently the person standing furthest away from Nex, even if it's just a 1 tile difference. If everyone is standing next to Nex then it's always the person with the lowest magic defence.
@@Roel93 Now imagine 5 people ALL in the same gear standing MELEE distance to nex, thats how it goes without a CT😂😅

I mean if you think tob is shit money now, imagine doing it 3 years ago when avernic was 30m and scythe was 250m, count your blessings my friend. unless you're doing money 450-540s toa or 1+1 3+12 or mini/megascasles at cox tob is very consistent gp wise and definitely above rate when it comes to how often you see the megarares (esp when there's only 1 on the table). Nice video though, excited to see your progress over time. Keep posting and gl :)

Good to hear you are enjoying ToB. You are right about the drops at ToB. It almost seems like jagex nerfed the drop rates for purples there and the items are not worth that much compared to cox. Tobbing felt more rewarding with the normal purple loot a year or two ago! Now it really only feels good unless you see a scythe! One thing I’d love to suggest. Regarding your inventory. ( no not the inventory tags) Try and make your inventory as neat and uniform as possible. Every raid your items should be in the same position. That way you will create a muscle memory for quick switches if needed and even more importantly for combo eats in a sticky situation. Your inventory triggered me in this video 😂 no hate. Love the video! Keep tobbing!!!!
Yeah defo feels like they did something with the droprates man. Appriciate the tip, i do it with cox but my inventory management at tob is horrible! I will never ever get rid of inventory tags though;))
@@KingTander takes time n practice to get the inventory placement / management down in any raid. They are all different and items end up here, there, and everywhere! I used to be an avid inventory tags user, couldn’t perform a switch without colours to help… turned them off one day to see if I could adjust. Took a few hours or raids n other pvm and then I never used them again. I think the inven looks cleaner with tags off, but that’s a personal preference. No hate on inven tags at all, makes switching gear easier to see when you’ve missed a glove switch ;) Keep up the content!
