I hate paylakers they think they are great fishermen and they can't catch a cold. My ten year old daughter can catch a fish out of a pond so to me you ain't a fisherman in a pond. If I can catch them up here they won't be going home in a vehicle it's a long walk to Indiana from n.c.

Indiana catfish rules are as simple as a google search. Rivers and streams - 13 inch minimum and 1 fish per day over 35 inches. This applies to commercial and recreational anglers

Very interesting, don't have pay lakes out here and I am glad we don't. There are some trout farms where you catch and pay but the trout are all farm raise. Thanks Billy for another interesting video, like your cat

Just one correction. Specifically regarding blue catfish. They reach breeding maturity at around 24 inches length, which in most bodies of water, takes them around 5-7 years. Channel Catfish are more likely to spawn after a couple years but blue catfish definitely take longer.

Need to send those guys to MD. Our DNR is actively looking for ways to get Blues and Flatheads out of our waters.

I hate commercial fishing as well. Pay lakes should be banned.

I live in SW Ohio aka Paylake central worst of the worst. Until they put in stiff regulations, police it (which there arent anywhere near enough officers), things arent going to change. The other issues are these trophy cat paylakes dont care, they run there own stocking programs and are now putting out videos to mislead people by saying they are stocking 1600lbs from the farm (while laughing).

After getting caught 2 times i think they should lose their license at least 5 years.3 offense lifetime ban.

Commercial fishing should not be done in public water.Our taxes pay for the fish stocks.Then private people catch them for money.Not cool.I don't have an issue with paylakes if they raise their own fish or by farm raised.

I feel like paylakes will always be a thing, but they should have regulations like the carp ponds over in the UK. Catch and release only, and the fish are raised and fed on site. Yes, no monster catfish will be there, but it's family fun, and you can even have disabled people fish these ponds without terrible issue.

I have more of a problem with what I feel are too lenient of penalties for ALL wildlife violations. I don't "hate" pay lakes, I even used to take my son to a trout farm in the early 90's and I think they have a place, especially for taking young children. What I don't like is what seems to be a lack of oversite by many state DNR, and not harsh enough penalties when people are caught. Being found guilty of INTENTIONALLY violating wildlife laws should carry VERY HARSH financial fines and penalties (lose your Truck, Boat, Gun, equipment used in the violation) loss of hunting and or fishing privileges for a SUBSTANTIAL amount of time, and possibly prison for the very worst or repeat offenders. When the penalty does not outweigh the gain of the violation the violations will continue.

I definitely think you should do a podcast. Don't copy anyone, but give it your own twist using your skills. Do it once a qeek to start. In the past, you've talked history of the waterways and disasters. Throw in your knowledge of how hard or easy certain fishing related tasks are. Of course, don't give away honey holes, but what is some common knowledge about the riverways . Cover species you like to dish for. Have info on invasive and how to keep waterways healthy.

Great video...I just moved to Kingsport TN, I have benn driving around to every body of water within 1.5 hrs trying to catch fish. I'm experienced with Great Lakes fishing. I think your channel will be a huge help to me. This weekend I've decided to go to Douglas Dam trying to get some skipjack. Wish me luck folks, it's tough being new. Any help would be greatly appreciated. That's why they call it fishing...not catching

Billy, you are doing an awesome job with your channel and I do look forward to seeing your videos. Dont worry about your speech, it is clear and no issues to understand. One thing that I see that may need some work. I had this same issue and struggled with it in meetings and people told me it was a distraction and I had to really work on that. Control your Hand movements, they can be a distraction and cause people to watch your hands and not listen to the words. Just a suggestion for you because you asked. Again, great Channel and look forward to the next one.

I like the idea of you doing a podcast, I watch Melhorn videos and podcast and would like to see you do the same thing. Your lighting and background looks good also like the cat.
