I was totally expecting to hate it but actually loved it. The ship is beautiful and the food in terms of choice surpassed expectations. There were some queues but no worse than P&O. And I have a theory about that too 😉

We are on again in a couple of weeks to le havre. Must be the same cruise

I've done both Iona (biggest and newest) and Aurora (oldest and smallest) in the P&O fleet. I enjoyed both but for very different reasons. Aurora is a classic beauty and so easy to get around. Has pretty much everything the bigger ships have and is adults only. I hope they meet her for as long as possible ❤ Thanks for the comment 👍

We loved Aurora. As you can see we took our young adult children. We were worried that it would be too old for them but I needn't have worried as they had a blast. Thank you for the feedback on the Vlogs. We're just starting out but loving putting them together. 🎉

The Bay of Biscay definitely was an experience. But once everyone's stomachs settled down we were fine. The rest of the cruise certainly made up for it. 🙌

Actually this was the best and quickest embarkation we've ever had. That said we did have a late embarkation time. But we arrived a good half hour before our time was due and pretty much went straight to the desk. There were a few people in front of us but it flowed like a well oiled machine. Thanks for the comment 😊

@@kathleenmcgovern8669funnily it's only recently that we've had a laptop to do it on-line. Prior to that we used to check in at the local library 🤣 But checking in at the port will be fine I'm sure. They have it covered. Let us know how you get on 👍

Glad you enjoyed it. It was so much fun. We have only really cruised out of season i.e Oct to April and always had smooth seas. That said we they were mostly Northern Europe where the seas are shallower and enclosed. The Bay of Biscay was definitely a different experience. But, all in all despite the sea sickness we would all definitely do it again. The good always outweigh the bad. Get booking. Thanks for the comment 😊
