the first few months after coming back from pisa might be the hardest months i've been through
it was difficult getting myself out of bed and not waste the day away. it took me more time than it should have to work on my thesis. and i struggle being alone (which i never had a problem with before) because i've always had my girls around me 24/7
i am beyond grateful for the friends i have by my side who tried their best to fill the hole in my chest and lift up my spirit
this trip to bali was the final stitch on my grieving heart. it made me see that life is worth living too here. that there are so many sides of indonesia that i haven't explored yet. that my life is more than that 6 months abroad.
i used to think that i have to do everything it takes to go back to italy again as soon as possible so i can continue my life. but now i am content. i'll be happy wherever life takes me. if the next chapter in my life is not gonna be in italy then i am okay with it and will be grateful nonetheless.
