Every time I hear this song - I'm reminded that I'm another year older than I'm supposed to be... And its like that feeling when the needle is just about to push through -- anxiety for what's to come, pain that will pass but pain you can't help but dread.

I used to listen to this song and cry when I was super strung out on heroin and couldn’t function. I used to travel all the time before and this song really hit a nerve. I went through a terrible break up. She cheated on me with my brother and had a child with him. We were talking about having our own kid. We were together for 3 years and then my house caught on fire and I lost everything. I was so defeated I just said fuck it and started sniffing heroin which turned to injecting heroin. But it really crushed my spirit and those chain of events permanently changed my brain chemistry. I genuinely felt every word of this song. I’ve been 5 years off heroin and have a 4 year old son who I love dearly and he loves me. I look back at that time 7 years ago and it feels like it didn’t really happen to me. I am such a different person now.

I feel sad listening to this song. Like hearing a happy story of someone who truly deserves it. Innocent and hopeful. I past my days to set foundations to feel nostalgic or relatable with this song. I understand why people would want to believe in reincarnation. I'll never get to feel the breeze or the warm sunny day when I listen to this. I feel like I'm watching the beautiful afternoon through the windows from the dark room I locked myself in. I can imagine the beauty of this song, but I can't feel it. maybe I have, just that now its been cut out of me. I wish I get to experience the life this song presents. But life isn't of dreams. This song is unrealistic, it's a fairy tale. No one will experience this, not where we're are now. to enjoy life you have to give up everything that stresses us but I can't give it up because that's where my roots grew into.

Wes Anderson created a beautiful representation of humanity, billions of quirky personalities fighting for a chance at making the world more acceptable to their own needs. As selfish as it is there is enjoyment in breaking it down, analyzing it and finding solutions for cohabitation. Without the past there will never be future, we have to be more tolerant not cancel aspects of humanity that are part of the whole. What is science?
