Caridac arrest is when ur heart skips a beat
Despite being a simulation, I got sooooo nervous.
It's not Cardiac arrest yet, but usually doctors always calls the code as the patient is about to code.
This was incredibly stressful to watch.
I got diagnose with this but I dont sound like wheezing from pokemon 😂
Sugammadex ✅
SRNAs
I have Malignant Hyperthermia
Should have either been in post operative/recovery or ICU.
I know this is an older video however, I have been that person on that table. It does break my heart and bring tears to my eyes that all these professionals doing their job brought me back to life. This is a short video. It took four minutes for me and all the work that they didto give back to me I truly appreciate what they do thank you
He skipped a lot of steps🫠
My son had this. He was 18 months. Most horrifying time ever!
Spo2 is unsatisfied be careful.
Would end tidal not gradually lower due to lower airway obstruction?
Good point!
Imagine someone recording someone’s last moments for a demonstration video. Yeah, real respectful and reverent to the victim.
no bestie, the person is part of the demonstration, its not real

I am an MH patient. It gets far worse than that. I developed full body conscious spasms, resulting in me flailing around like a fish out of water. They dosed me again to knock me back out and they said I basically doubled over backwards, nearly snapping my own spine on the table before they got me strapped down and got Dantrolene in me.. Ever since, my heat tolerance has plummeted. I can no longer even be in direct sunlight for more than about 5 minutes... It seems I have a fairly severe case of it. I've had problems with heat my entire life... Now I know why, and it's getting worse by the day. x.x Those of you who don't have this... be thankful to whatever deity you believe in.
Dantrolene is the antidote I believe. How was your experience with Dantrolene?
@@SuperPARNES Yes, Dantrolene is the antidote to the condition. It's a very powerful paralytic. As for the experience itself... Very strange. After I woke up initially, I actually FELT dead. I could feel nothing and could move nothing. I was only vaguely aware that I had a breathing tube. Once I became fully aware of and could feel the breathing tube, I started reflexively fighting it, so they removed it. It was rather surreal. I should have been terrified... but like I said, I FELT like I was actually already dead. It was one of the oddest sensations I've ever experienced. I really don't want to experience it again. Once was enough. x.x
U guys realise ur heart doesn’t just stop when u have cardiac arrest- in most cases it’s an extremely irregular rhythm that can’t push the blood through the body properly and u can die from that.
Thank you very much for sharing your videos. They are very helpful.
Thank you
This is sinus tach
Avoid redoing projects and reports. Ask patrons who want to pet a cosmetic hair if you stay in this class. 👽👙📢🔊
Great video. Shows how to be calm and follow steps.
Because of that I always obtein a IV access
Fake. They dont allow cameras in for insurance reasons. Malpractice
I had meniscus tear surgery yesterday. I asked the nurse why my chest hurt after recovery. She said nothing. When u got home I looked in the mirror. My chest was bruised and sore. I think my heart stopped and they had to jump my heart. Surgeon never came in my room to talk to me afterwards. I'm DNR. They knew when I went in. My BP was up to 190. BP meds don't work.
Sounds unethical
im taking this is a reanacment practice scene
That’s a great thing to say!! “I have some more patients, how much longer this gonna be?!” No respect for the person and just wants to get as many patients through for more $ in his pocket! Sad. Would he say that if it was his mom or dad or child in that situation?!
this is obviously a voice over for students to watch you fucking apes. obviously it's not real
When I was in anesthesia school we ran simulations like this to practice emergencies. I would hope this guy is pretty new in school and nothing beyond a first year because he mismanaged that from the get go. As long as he's new, he'll learn ... ideally. But, this is the point of the simulations, to baptise you by simulation fire and allow you to work through your deficiencies before the real patient's life is at stake.

Ventilation failed
is it just me or does the beeping progressively getting lower pitched sound like it could be a banger?
The SpO2 pitch change upon fluctuation, it is common clinically.
This may be avoided if you inserted a LMA
Is it real
Is not cardiac arrest is sinus tachycardia
I think it’s atrial fibrillation
These videos are amazing !! 😇so helpful !!

He’s gonna code

What’s sad is this “team work” between nurses, techs and doctors has been so isolated that anyone below a doctor is influenced not to give their input even when shit like this happens all the time because they aren’t “smart” enough
The problem with IM sux is its slow onset. Typically takes about 3-4 minutes (w/ or w/o hyaluronidase) so unfortunately this response isn’t realistic. If IV access is unavailable then go via an IO or if you’re really in a pinch suxamethonium can be injected intralingually or submentally to rapidly break laryngospasm.
My pants afterwards 💩
I had surgery in 2022 and developed malignant Hyperthermia halfway through the surgery. it took the hospital 4.5 hours and 20 different doctors (who all gave me a different med when they came in) before they finally figured it out. I almost died
First of all that’s Afib with RVR.
Cardiac tamponade is a grave condition
wtf?!?!!
I have same question.
Actually, this is not Cardiac Arrest or Sinus Tach either. This is Atrial Fibrillation.
