Gopro cameras snow is yellow. color temperature is too warm. not good. Gopro videos noise in the night. Quite clear that the contour is better.

Awesome video...I have a Roam2 right now but next buy is definitely Hero3 Black...you can get extra batteries or a portable charger for the Hero3, but you can't get 120fps on the Roam2

did the go pro have some kind of digital image stabilization? the contour seemed to vibrate much more.

How long does the battery last on a full charge?

The battery dies really fast with the contour. Been snowmobiling in -28 celsius and it went down fast.

I tried the GoPro & Panasonic helmet cams for motorcycle video. Like the Contour much better. See video by clicking link on left and searching for recent uploads.

Contour Roam2 seems like a better value (135 pounds vs 270). Do you get the protective case and mount for helmet just like the gopro?

How good contour and gopro at cold weather. Im asking because, where im skeeing the temperature often gets under -20 celsius (-4 fahrenheit).

does anyone could help me to make a choice. Mainly I want to use camera in car as dashboard cam and would be great is there option to charge during recording. the other thing is as I want to mount it on the helmet for bicycle and use as helmet cam. thx for any advices

I think I prefer contour roam 2. How waterproof is it? I like to swim and dive? Also can you take good self shots? And if I drop it on a hard surface will it be alright? Plan to take it climbing

Would the contour be good for hockey? Like a goalie helmet?

i did the same thing... don't go for the GoPro in my opinion you can get the contour better. or buy a hd hero2 (secondhand??)
