This video is a couple of years old. There's really no way to mess up such a good piece of music.
Very relaxing!
Awesome as usual. Improvs in minor keys on a jazzmaster with a side of 6G15 reverb into a deluxe reverb is my current addiction ❤
Cool. Gotta feel it:)
One of the best on utube....👍
Enjoyed!

Great rendition!😊

Nice arrangement. Big like. Thanks for posting this one.
You're welcome again; glad you liked it.
Loved it! It sort of reminds of Jerry Reed.
Thanks, J.R. is one of my heroes.
sounds a bit like Knopfler!
wow you make it sound like a pedal steel
Thanks, I appreciate that comment, because I worked on sounding like a pedal steel back in my roadhouse days. I worked with another guy who had the hot tele sound.
Awesome sir 1:29
Man so relaxing
I like this sound...nice peace of music! Enjoyed! 👍🎸🎼🙂
Just pure guitar. No glamour…. I love it!! Please keep it coming
Good material doesn't need anything fancy. Thanks.
Your technique is really good!

Nice tone. You played that well. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks; They started calling me Guitar Man when I was about 19 or 20. I was a fanatic! There will be another new piece this week.
Guess you found some inspiration!!!! Thanks.@@guitarmangordon.9286
You really should cut an album. Your musical skills and ability to get great tones is impressive. Just great playing. 😊👍🦅🎸

Well done. Thank you!
Perfect.
Humbucker on a Tele just sounds right!
Good choice of Guitar. Jaguar? Sounds great.
Brings me back to the good ol' days.
Enjoyed this one. Adding a looper pedal to the mix is a smart idea.
Thanks, loopers are great; about 8 years ago the gigs had dried up in my area, so I couldn't get a band together anymore. Just at the right time loopers came out to save me from going crazy.
I'm born and bread N.Y.C. - SoCal, New York, don't matter. This is great American music no matter what. And your arraignment is awesome. Looking forward to hearing more from you. To show my appreciation, I clicked on the 'Like' button and subscribed.
I think "Pet Sounds" is a great album. I'm not shy to say that I owe Brian Wilson a lot.
This piece is built around a Hard Stop. It's funny that in music playing nothing can be something. Silence can still be music.
Yoiu can sing to it 'STOP' at the right time :) Sounds great - thx!
Silence is music to my ears..it is a sound..can't imagine ( no-sound. ) Your body has sound. . Noise which stops suddenly can make it seem like silence.. strange thing! I enjoyed the 'stop bits' and the music bits too!! Perfect 🙂
You certainly take care of your guitars!!!!👍 I have an old Shaftesbury accoustic, 40+ years old. They deserved the care..🙂
I got that one for 10 bucks at the swap meet about 40 years ago. I put all the ware you see on the neck.
@@guitarmangordon.9286 A great buy! A dream to listen to your old guitar...it's this video which brought me to your site....👍
@@guitarmangordon.9286Nice bargain! You have put it to good use..this video is the one I noticed first which made me listen..glad of it! 👍🙂
This poor bull must be VERY lonely!
Your tastefulness when you play is really beyond compair.
Thanks, it's all in the phrasing.
Roy Buchanan goes soft and mellow 🤩
Hav'nt listened to him in years; That's another great guitarist who never makes those top 25 lists on youtube.
@@guitarmangordon.9286 Roy`s first album I listened to was the "Second Album" and it thrilled me and my friends endlessly - these sharp, biting telecaster sounds, the downright honesty of his playing and the shimmer of christian belief were somehow fascinating; it was the first musical sermon that ever got to my ears and you could even dance to it!😁
Well-known song in France and as usual well performed, well done !
Thanks:)
Why don`t you tell him that Johnny Hallyday made it famous and that the song was called "Le penitencier"?
Nice job! reminds me of Clapton a bit
Thanks, E.C. was all over that time period.
It is much better than what old, ever repeating himself Eric did; I only appreciated what he did with Blind Faith, the rest was a long chain of boredom; like Carlos Santana - if you knew one album (Abraxas) you knew them all.
I was never a fan until I got the Layla album, & listened to "have you ever loved a woman?" Then I saw it; But, that being said, you have to grow beyond blues guitar, & he never really did. @@user-yp2mw2ko9k
@@guitarmangordon.9286 This is the point I wanted to make.... What is your opinion on Danny Gatton?
I felt he was a really good picker. He had great phrasing when he wasn't overplaying. I was guilty of overplaying in my pro days. You have to get beyond ego & the desire to show people how good you are, & then you start making good music. My influences are more along the lines of James Burton, Nokie Edwards, Jerry Reed; When Gatton came out I was a working musician. I'm still deeply sorry about how things ended for him. @@user-yp2mw2ko9k
Cuckoo, I really appreciated your sharing.. A pleasant performance.. Bravo.. See you soon.. 1 like and my subscription.. Good evening Danielle🎵🎶👋
Thank you. If I could write lyrics, I'd make a song out of this.
Once again a great rendition of a great song! Well done!! 😊👍🎸
Thanks; I wrote that Saturday morning, then I worked on it a little, then I recorded it: Now I can't even listen to it. It sounds awful to me. That's the way it always is:)
@@guitarmangordon.9286 I know the feeling! Lol!!
Nice job! Also like the guitar and the hat! 😁
Thanks. lucky hat.
