I havent seen Paul in a very long time! I have to say i have missed seeing you guys. Honestly! My wife and i l, well actually i remember coming across the tv show you guys had called "Gator Boys" late one night when i was in the hospital. It was about 2 weeks before we had a live demonstration from the guys down in Beaumont Texas called "Gator Country" back in the earlier years. We actually won tickets to see them, get photos and things like that. Even was allowed to hold a baby as well as another that was a bit bigger. They brought some gators, a huge albino python named Banana, and the whole gang. During this, there was a Q&A to learn about gators, and since we would watch Gator Boys religiously. And with Paul pretty much explaining to the tv audiences what was what, and of course we were huge fans and followers of Steve (RIP) AND Terry, we breezed right through. They even kept score, allowing me and my wife to be on top of the list with a prize of a huge stuffed gator about 8 feet long, but we gave it to one little girl that was wheelchair bound. Then we were able to talk to the guys while we had breakfast with them. It was all good, until one of the Gator Country guys asked where we got our knowledge, we of course said the Irwins, our zoo here, andvthen you guys. The lead, boss, whatever, when we said your show's name frowned at us, and they both got up and walked off. The girl with them said to ignore them, but that they didnt like your show or the park because you guys practice the wrong kind of safety, and it will eventually get all of you to start losing limbs quick and that he thought Paul was an idiot for not wearing shoes, trying to catch them while you are in the water with them. Did he mean it? I dont know because he truthfully wasnt a friendly person to begin with. Anyway, i wish you guys would figure out a way to get the show back on because it was one of the best i have seen. All in all, and with they way you guys respect the animals, you guys are actually THE BEST when it comes to rescues!
