Dan your an inspiration. You were always a gent to me whenever our paths crossed. We didnt really no eachother well but i remember working with you in the kitchen and i looked up to you as you were higher level than me. Poor chris we never really saw eye to eye but watching this is heartbreaking and i just want to put my arm around chris and be a shoulder for him to let it out, you achieved that with chris. I’m a born and bred Maidonian … yet i don’t ever recall ever meeting Chris. I know scores of people who knew him … some better than others … but i never met the man. Because of this I thought i would be able to watch this video totally objectively with an open mind. That lasted about 5 minutes. Knowing what i know it became painfully sad and difficult to watch. it would have been easy for me to stop watching, but i didn’t. I stuck it out. It’s the most honest interview i can ever recall watching. Full credit to the creator for this. Rest easy young man. Sorry your (far too short) life was so bloody tough x

Grew up with Chris, we had a similar childhood with our dad's, my dad was an alcoholic and abusive, broke my heart when his dad did what he did, and I know that killed Chris inside, gutted he's not here now xxx

I worked with Chris for three or so years, he was a stand up guy, always fun to work with... I think he was still fighting a lot of battles then, poor guy was kicking for the surface but he couldn't quite make it

Keep strong mate ive been trying to stop drinking losing most of my family in a space of 6 months was really hard for me im still drinking but i don't get pissed up like my brother matty life is hard and you have to be strong

Fair play to you Dan it's good to see you sort your life out I had to move away from Maidenhead to sort my life out been in Swindon just over 9 years I've been building a bike track on my estate and brought the community together been a mentor for all the youngsters around Swindon getting them riding and jumping and watching them progress even jumping myself again it's kept me going after losing my parents and brother two years ago keep on doing what you are doing

And yes, the most difficult thing is to be honest with yourself and to be honest with the people who are close to you. And working on yourself is a never-ending story. Be aware that you have already achieved a lot and many beautiful things await you. So keep up the good work and be proud of yourself. I'm proud of you.
