Most of you met us last year during the big BC flood that left us stranded for 5 weeks on the Coquihalla Highway. Fortunately it's where we live off grid. However, to our pleasant surprise, two wonderful people, Mike and Ute, were also stranded here in their motor home. In this video we share their return visit to remember and celebrate the anniversary of that dramatic experience.

Work is underway to repair the Coquihalla highway from last years flood. The pipeline crews lay pipe across the river bed. With a dry summer the highway is under threat of fire, could a truck fire be the start of one? We're standing by with our water truck.

Fml that brings back memories. 22re reg cab long box 4x4. Leaving Kamloops getting passed by a minivan on the uphills. The I pass them do 130 downhill. Then they pass me going up the next hill. Stopped being funny after about the 6th time. Im sure the dad thought I was fuckin wit him.
I think what most people don’t realize is that most of these new trucks when stock make terrible 4 wheel drives. You can literally get stuck in a Walmart Parking lot.

Great to see someone has snow and the opportunity to go and get stuck! In S. Ontario we're measuring the snow depth in millimetres, if any. That chain to the Toyota kinda concerns me. Perhaps time for some Freedom Recovery Gear with soft shackles?
