Striping mistake, somewhere between the 40ft shared lame market and the solid line appearing on the passenger side there should have been the short dashed section with a break to indicate the lane was ending. To be fair there are construction cones what's looks like ongoing construction so permanently signage might not be applicable yet. Definitely a mistake painting though which could cause problems.
