I'm glad you tried something new. The SD size does bother me especially if they go Chibi style. I prefer my models to be proportional or as close to correct as possible.

Not a great review, you didn’t say much other than you liked it. Nothing about the quality or part count, or the engineering of the kit. This is a pretty big step in the right direction of gunpla, and it would’ve been cool if some of the more popular builders could also match that effort.

to be honest, i also am not a fan of SD in general but MGSD is an exception. i love how detail packed in its head. much more so than MG.

I too don't like the sd line . I'm a real grade guy. But this mgsd line looks cool. I have this kit your reviewing but haven't built it yet. the second mobile suit in the line is the Barbatos from iron blooded orphans then its the endless waltz wing gundam.

I still have some early models of the strike freedom, I prefer the more lithe look than the chunky SD kits. Those have the same kind of articulation but more movement in some places with control planes movable and a more open cockpit. Sadly one of them hasn't stood up to time and moving as well as I would like.

I wonder if SD Gundams have chibi pilots or regular proportioned pilots?

I'm with you I'm not fan of the chibis, but this one doesn't look bad. What I dream for is the 00 Gundam or exia in the scale of the huge one you have in the back... It would cost an arm and a leg too though 😂
