These deluxe songs were left off the album for a reason initially, but if yall watched the interview with them and Zane they did say they don't need to have other outlets for their different styles of songs (boxcar, +44, etc.) because they are all comfortable and happy with the band being who they are to this day. blink won't just be "pop punk" anymore because of their musical history, so I do agree these songs have more of an indie style. I suggest you guys listen again with an open mind and you'll come to love a lot of these songs the way the rest of us do. We're all just so happy to be having new blink material with Mark Tom and Travis!

Listening to Tom’s solo stuff it’s clear to see what he brought to kasabian. Yes serge wrote the tunes but he’s no front man. They’re an average pop band now. Tom’s tunes hit you hard full of attitude and real. I saw him live before watching Noel Gallagher and he was amazing a proper showman, him and now wife worked things out do kasabian sacking him undermined his importance . I can’t listen to any kasabian after Tom left cos it is bland bland bland and if you like it your a lightweight

Most of the songs on the regular album are very good and work together as a whole album. I agree that these new tracks should have been a separate EP though as a 27-long tracklist is far too long.

for Reading, wayyy preferred the 2 main stages and radio 1 tent felt like an afterthought it was a shame. Chevron stage looked cool but it caused too many sound issues and lighting wasn't as effective in the day it would've been cooler having a dance tent with lights in the ceiling imo

It definitely took me a minute to adjust the new vibe with this album, but I’m actually really loving it. For now, I would give it an 8/10 with my favorite tracks, being starburster, desire, and sundowner.

Really great review and honest takes! 8/10 for me. I love Romance but agree that some of their early stuff was stronger as a whole. Favourite is my favourite tune they've ever done though. Can't wait to catch them in Phoenix, AZ!

Was really excited for this until the ticketing prices fiasco, now learning the band were responsible for approving dynamic pricing. They just blew themselves out of the water for me and loads of former fans, the whole thing is a shitty cash grab.

Feel like Vultures 1 was like a 7/10 maybe a little less but no worse than 6.6, and based off all the leaks of like Promotion and such, Vultures 2 should be like a 7.5 or an 8, but it’s just completely unfinished. I disagree with Anthony fantano for the first one but I gotta agree here this album is literally unreviewable because in my opinion it’s a project that is better than Vultures 1 but it’s not even more than 65% finished. He didn’t HAVE to get it released. It’s not some school project that he waited until the night before it was due to do it. He has the freedom to release whenever he wants and that’s the whole idea of Daytona with Pusha-T. Despite all the freedom that he has, he forced it out. I think Vultures should’ve just been one album but nonetheless it still could’ve been good if we got it in three albums. Release Vultures 1 in April, 2024, Vultures 2 in March 2025, and Vultures 3 in February 2026! I would’ve much rather preferred we didn’t get Vultures 2 for another 6 months yk. Or, just entirely that we didn’t get Vultures up until the end of this year and it was just one album because even if we did get the trilogy in a healthy release cycle we would’ve just been stuck on this Vultures era for years. This late into his career he does not need to be pumping out a trilogy like this. I would’ve preferred just one 18 or 16 track album. Hell, if he did do three albums but they were each 7 songs! He’s already proved himself as an artist so honestly it sounds wierd but I think I would prefer if he just chose to only make 7 song projects like how he did in 2018 and he just did that until he retired. Vultures 3 releases start of 2025 and we are out of the era. Then in 2026 we get 7 song album. 2027 we get the deluxe edition of the album where we get some minor updates to some songs and one bonus track at the end of the album, but most notably now that its in its final state we get a physical edition! Have this 2026/2027 album just be his own album, no gimmicks he is just trying to prove himself once again(maybe LOVE EVERYONE?). 2028 we get radio silence that hypes us up! 2029 we get a similar release to 2018, we get a 7 song Collab album with Chance the Rapper, and we get a sequel to kids see ghosts. And then maybe 2030 he finally retires. Pusha T understood with Daytona and considering Kanye was in such close ties in making Daytona you think he would understand too that he does not need to release and he’s only doing it when he wants to. There’s no way Kanye is proud of Vultures 2 but based off what he’s made it’s clear that Vultures could have been a good project had Kanye released a year later and focused on just quality over quantity everyone would’ve loved this album! DAYTONA WAS ONLY 7 TRACKS BECAUSE PUSHA T DIDNT HAVE TO MAKE IT ANY MORE! I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY

In my opinion, it started with Jesus Is King. Should’ve stayed Yandhi. The project clearly wasn’t done so he should’ve gone for Yandhi in 2019 not JIK. Have it be 10 tracks just like Yeezus and have it feel kind of like a sequel to it. After this, I’m gonna say something that probably pisses a lot of people off. WE DONT GET DONDA! This was an extremely bloated project and it feels like near the end of it like Kanye lost all motivation in making sure it was a consistently good album and was more just focused on getting it out there and he only cared if there were SOME bangers within it. In my opinion, Donda’s efforts should have just gone into his future projects, no I don’t even think that we should’ve still gotten it as a skimmed project with only 12, 16, or 18 something tracks. In 2024, give us Vultures. It’s not 3 separate albums. He tried/is trying to do 3, 16 song albums when it should’ve just been a singular 18 song album like initially announced! With it releasing like November 2024 maybe not even until February 2025! As for the stretch between 2019-2024/25 until the Vultures collab drops, what exactly should he have done? Well, I think the first and most obvious option is just nothing. He doesn’t have to release anything. He’s already given us so much and he should only release if he has the motivation to! But… here’s some things that woulda been cool: - Firstly is a Gospel Album. Have it be 11 tracks like Jesus Is King and maybe a lot of the Donda efforts go into this as Donda is a lot of Gospel. Have it all be Inexplicit like Donda I could see this being a very great, inspired project! 2021 would probably be when this would’ve come out. - GOOD ASS JOB: Give us the Collab album of Chance the Rapper & Kanye West! A 7 track, single LP that feels just like ye & KSG with how it covers very heavy topics back to back! With the self awareness of Kanye from after Life of Pablo blending into ye+KSG and the old era type of music from Chance like The Coloring Book but moreso Acid Rap I think this would’ve been just as good if not better than KIDS SEE GHOSTS! Also it would be cool if they had their own rap collective name of GOOD ASS JOB just like how him and Cudi did it under KSG! Also on the album or maybe as a bonus track Say Less with Childish Gambino is on there as a big vibe switch compared to the rest of the album. That song could also end up on the next project after this I’m about to state. But also a cool concept would be to name each song with ‘Good Ass’ in it! Like the intro is Good Ass Intro and the Outro is Good Ass Outro(even tho Chance has songs named this I don’t think it would matter too much since it’s under a different name). They could have a self titled song of simply Good Ass Job like on KSG, and they could have a song called simply Good Ass which is a funny name based off the system but could cover Kanye’s sex addiction and be correlated and really give off the vibes of his 2018 ‘ye’ album! - KIDS SEE GHOSTS 2: They already have their our producer name, why don’t they just release more songs under it?! Another 7 track project with the same tracklisting! Like 3 hype songs and then the 4th track is when they transition into back to back heavy hitters! The only song I could see making it on there that already exists is Angels & Demons by Cudi, it gives off the vibes of KSG and they could rename it to Devil’s Watchin’ with a Kanye verse added(this would be like track 2/3). As stated earlier tho it would be cool to have Say Less on here which would have a lot of reshaping if it was on here and of course Cudi would be put on the song! But it would just be cool to get another project just like KSG instead of just something completely different. Also if he did do this I think he could handle it like in 2018, in 2020 or 2021 he could release Good Ass Job and then a week later KSG2! - LOVE EVERYONE: This would be sick! A 7 song project that talks all about cancel culture and has that same sick album cover! It would take a completely different direction than in the singles we’ve already heard but yeah if he really did have a lot of lines that were outrageous and if he actually touched on how we should love thy neighbor! Also, I think After You could go really good on this project if the song was finished and we deserve After You but it doesn’t really match anything I’ve said so far except like Good Ass Job but since it’s a minimal 7 tracks we want all of that to be saved towards fresh stuff with Chance! This was just a whole lot of yapping by me but I think if Kanye did something similar to what I just said it would’ve been great! Or, same projects only Yandhi gets put at the end and Kanye decides to make Yandhi his final album! But, I feel like he could still get one last incredible project after Vultures, but that’s only if he has the motivation
