The duplex is a 3 mm cable so it will work with an lc or sc connector.
What is the size of the Allen key?
How to Remove connector snap cover ?
With the dust cap on and against a level surface, hold the cap and push down. The SC cover will snap off and over the front of the connector!

Cann SSF fiber be fusion spliced to traditional fiber or even other SSF fiber?
Jason - The answer to both of your questions, is yes. However, you do need to use our SSF-TRIHOLEP strippers to remove the polymer, then clean the fiber as you would any traditional fiber, cleave as normal and splice. The fusion splicer also needs to be set to core alignment, not clad alignment.

Cleerline SSF fibers have a polymer coating that allows for vastly higher bending capabilities! bending of the fiber as such is not an issue with cleerline SSF! Check their technology out, you’ll be impressed!

This stuff doesn't fusion splice very well (at all). The method you mentioned just breaks the fiber (holding strippers sideways). Why do you have to hold them sideways anyways? Does the fiber need to be stripped past 125 micron?

what ? you dont include the buildup (aka 900um ) tube.... you need it separately? HTF do you get away with calling this a 250um connector then if not all parts are included. I'll pass thanks. (besides, its too risky putting a con onto a 250um anyway, too easily damaged if someone who doesnt know what they are doing messes around with it.

What do you have regading dB loss in this splice? Ore dBm. In Sweden we normaly use a Fusion Splicer! Normaly a Core (6 motor splice) This funcion is as a Clad - Clad unit. If the fiber is not in the center of the fiber (this will not work in the end) We use: Normal fiber stripper ore a Thermal heated stripper. I think that your use with fingers (Can cause fiber in your body if you do this in the wrong way)
