Which screen size do you think looks better in BMW F10,? 10.25, 12.3 or 14.9? I don't like the digital cluster.
@@Anthnuno Hey man, thanks for reaching out!😉 Personally the 15" looks amazing (only if you also have the Digital instrument cluster) if not then I would prefer the "in dash" 10.25 inch.

As this is a right hand drive car, should the CarPlay menu be on the right side? Any idea how you might change this ?
@@williamoconnorme you can change it yes😉.... Usually if you open the app (the one that gives you the option for Carplay) without your phone being connected then it should allow you to go into that app settings and change it to LHD / RHD
What if something is wrong with the car, will it show the issue like OEM would?
Yes it will still show the errors😉

Can you both the android feature and stock features side by side? I have night vision and i want to use that feature with google maps side by side

@@CarplaySolutions-za can you adjust how wide each side by side screen is because it looks like the oem menu on the screen looks overly stretched

Can you use the oem bmw night vision feature while the android screen is up so its side by side?
can you use the built in bmw mics or the bmw gps without using the chinese one? i also want to maintain the use of the stock maps too
@@socommaster You can still use the iDrive system like usual so you can still use that maps. Regarding the Mic, the oem one in this video was basically useless so it's way better with the aftermarket one. But unfortunately you can't usd the oem mic with the aftermarket radio's
@@CarplaySolutions-za why is the oem one useless? Because there is no connection for it in the aftermarket units?
@@socommaster what I meant was the microphone that came with the car was really bad... So could never really use it because of the bad quality. And yes there is no connection to it with the aftermarket units.
How to enable USB (wired) connection for CarPlay?
To answer myself, wired CarPlay is not supported. On top of this, CarLetter app (CarPlay) does not run at a native 2560x720 resolution resulting in the blurry UI. Not sure about Android Auto, but given that CarPlay/AA is probably going to be the most used feature on these screens, this is a huge miss. Returning mine.
Does it work with F25 or F25?
Unfortunately we are still in the process of development to get the 15 inch for the F25, but we can definitely get you the 8.8 Inch/10.25 inch or 12.3 inch.
Bought this massive screen for the F10 from Andrew, super impressed by it. Best thing is the support he provided me and answered all my questions. Now awaiting the steering wheel!

No it was oem. Heat is on constantly. Regardless of the button being pressed or not

Yeah, I would say the only thing is that unfortunately you can't see the service info on the iDrive system (You have to insert it manually)

@@amalasok9351 Personally I would not get the 14.9 inch without the Digital Instrument Cluster.. (It just looks amazing together.) and if I can't get the 14.9 inch I would personally rather get the 10.25 inch unit. (Just looks better in my opinion)

Did you have any issues with the backup camera, I don’t have any output video but my sensors still work
Not at all. It sounds like if you have a wrong setting. (There should be a setting to select the reverse camera options like: oem camera, aftermarket camera etc)

Hi, sometimes it doesn't need the AUX but mostly it uses it. I'm still going to test it but someone said that you can actually code it with bimmercode not to use AUX

When swapping an original cluster it needs to be virginized and coded to make sure the car doesnt think someone tampered with the odometer. How does this unit handle that?
As far as we are concerned there is no issues at all regarding that🙏
You can do AUX delete with bimmercode then you don't need to plug the aux cable at all. Let me know if you need help
