Got upgraded to the YC Interior this AM but it was still showing the Bella benefits... So I called and the support woman said "you upgraded just the cabin, not the experience." I was like, WHAT?! I have upgraded to YC three times in the past and that has never happened before - we always got the YC experience. How would they even police that? "Sorry, you can't eat in the private restaurant, you just have a YC cabin." I asked for a supervisor and after a long time on hold the woman came back and said "it can take up to 3 days for the experience to be updated" which has NEVER happened to me before - it almost immediately updated. I hope they have not changed how upgrades work, cause otherwise I am going to be very angry. So I'm going to check back in three days and call again if it still shows Bella experience. Very frustrating.

I cruised the Mardi Gras in July and they only serve bacon every other day, I was disappointed about that too. On the Celebration last year and Mardi Gras the sea day brunch was good, but the buffet on both were underwhelming

I sure do not want to see guests in YC using the amenities that I paid a good price for. YC members can go to the "others" areas if you want to gather with "them". YC only for paying members PLEASE!

If you are still on Seashore, the best crew member we have found is Anil Kumar, from India. He has moved up in the ranks since we first met him on Davina. We last saw him on Seashore (11/22), where he is a very attentive Dining Room Manager. Hoping. to find Anil again on another cruise!

Steampunk Humpty reminds me of the Mighty Mighty Bosstones member who just dances . I think he was a friend that wanted to be in the band but had no talent so he just said "hey, I can dance" LOL I love how things can become quests. Sometimes the search alone can become the greatest memory

Hi I wonder if you can get an answer to my question. My wife and i are sailing seashore for the Superbowl (3rd time for Superbowl) 1st in YC, also booked on world america YC 2026. Is there a public place in the YC to watch the Superbowl or do we have to venture into regular public spaces?

Do they have veggie burgers on the food trucks?

Are sodas included in the package? My husband does not drink alcohol, but he loves his soda!!

Question about the YC pool...Is the only way in and out of the YC pool ladders? ARe there any steps (mobility issues make ladders difficult). Also, what month did you do on this YC cabin trip? Room number? Thank you!

Not gonna say our Butlers name but sailed on a ship that didn’t have a Venchi on board, asked our butler if they could give us a little bit extra since there was no Venchi on board and we missed it, he asked us our favorite flavor and disappeared. We didn’t think anything of it but 2 days later he shows up at our room with one of the MSC Voyagers Club string bags and he tells us to enjoy, don’t tell anyone, and disappeared. We open up the bag and inside is a 100CT sealed bag of our favorite Venchi flavor. Over a year later and we still have some in our fridge! They really go out of the way to ensure you have whatever you desire so long its within limits.

I may have missed it but the Yacht Club restaurant on Ocean Cay is anything but typical cruise line style food. The Mahi Mahi and the Carne asada were great. And they have the lobster roll included and "the burger" is awsome. I was stuffed to the gills!

There wasn't any breakfast pizza on Magnifica the beginning of June. Hopefully, they will have it again on our upcoming Magnifica cruise.🤞

Thanks for this video! It's just fun to watch you 😊 I have to say that i like the food at the marketplace buffet very much. There are so many options and i like to taste from diffret things. On the seascape we were in the yc and i was a bit nervous becouse of the "fancy dinner options". Also I have to eat glutenfree.. and i can tell you they take perfect care about that. There was a personal waiter whitch kind of waited for me every day 🤪 to serve a extra prepared bread plate for breakfast oder explained the menu in the evening. They were perfectly competent in this point. Our kids also could get fries and nuggets all the time in yc - like you said. One time we went to buchers cut and the food there was also really very good. And of course we love the nachos at hola taccos 😍

That "Chicago Style" looks like an abomination! Yikes! The normal MSC Pizza truly is the best at sea. It is one of the things that I --always-- look forward to on an MSC Cruise. Like Top 5 things I look forward to. I can't say as I search out anything else food related on MSC. Which now that I am thinking about it, thats one of the main things I actually do on Carnival. (Guy's Burger at least once, Meatball Sammie at least three times, and the Pho at least once) but on MSC, I am just kind of a grazer at the Buffet. Although I did enjoy the wings in "Sports Bar" Not sure if it's something I would seek out though. LoL Now if you were talkin' drinks.... that's a Steam Punk Humpty Dumpty of a different color 🤣

MSC new to american market but changes in recent years obvious. Perhaps some are just not comfortable with diverse atmosphere. Little more chill. Floating disco ball with swarovski crystal staircase. Beautiful. Every bar has an esspresso machine so get your coffee from bar service. Even with non alcoholic package. Cruise twice a tear, one is a solo cruise. Befriend my steward for little more safety. Sent me home with free bottle of wine and engraved msc glasses. Take my own snorkel mask and float and book overnight at island. Turtle hangs out by lighthouse inside fence barrier. Flounder, live conch, lots of fish. Changes with seasons. I want balcony and book fantastica so i can pick my cabin. Last cruise in june took 15 minutes from stepping onto escalator at entrance to walking onto ship. Room immediately ready.

How big difference did the bid total end up from just booking YC outright?

So if i wanted a treble scotch for example is that classed as 1 of my 15 drinks or 3?

We booked Aurea Balcony on the Euribia, because we think it's the perfect Match between Comfort and Price. We asked for an Upgrade to Yacht Club... MSC told as an additional Price in the same Amount we paid now! They offer us Cabins in the Upgrade Program to bid for only in the Aurea Category. We travel in about 45 Days ... we hope we could give a bis for the Yacht Club. We can see there are plenty of Cabins free.

Gosh darn! I agree on the price being so great. I really dont feel like its a basement cruise. Thanks for sharing. Only thing about aurea aft balcony is it is super skinny. Inside very spacious.

I have the perfume one on my Seaview cruise in November 2025! It’s like 400-450$ per person (I have it in local currency) But you have to scroll all the way down in the detailed description to see that it’s a YC exclusive one, it’s not very visibly stated.

Carnival offers upgrades to Diamond and Platinum statutes first, then to other passengers. I'm gold with MSC, and I always get the offer to upgrade if there's any vacancy.
