Do you know of any high quality well made wigs this color, (I'm seeing bright white, not silver white) in a longer slightly below the collarbone length? These companies seem to think older women must wear their hair short and succumb to age dictates and programming. 🙄

I am now 3 months into my wig journey and I'm not comfortable. I've not gotten one compliment that my hair looks great. Not like I need to have a compliment every day but people have told me that I will get compliments because I have beautiful hair, so it's just disappointing because it hasn't happened. It doesn't help that I only wear wigs about 3 days a week for a couple of hours. I'm retired and I don't go out all that often, just to do errands and doctor's appointments. If I were still a working girl I would maybe be long over this phobia that I have that everything on my head looks like a wig. I'm still pretty positive that it does, and no one is saying anything because they don't want to lie.😢

My fear was setting off the metal detecters with the metal stays in my hairpiece. I asked one of the presenters on CZcams. She answered quickly back and stated that they do not set off the metal detectors. Whew!

I remember going to the chiropractor and had my Raquel Welch Simmer wig on and asked him if I should remove it and he didn't realize it was a wig! The next visit I wore Jean Renau's Ignite because it was shorter and wouldn't be in the way of him massaging my shoulder. I caught him examining my wig! It was kind of funny! He was probably intrigued.

But, caution-NEVER wear one with metal clips to an MRI! Ask me how I know 😵‍💫
