Why doesn’t mine fold down like that with the unit on
If you have an Oyster 3 then it should fold down with the seat on. If not contact the retailer you purchased it from for advice.
@@paulstrideyork yes thank you so much for your response. I think it was abit stiff I had to remove the seat and fold the base with a strong push then I tried it again and it went freely so I put the seat back on and it worked.. Thank you

What's the difference between the Sirona Gi and the Sirona T? Thank you
The Gi comes as one piece on the base and is not removable, and goes to 105cm and 20Kg weight of child and is in the Cybex Gold range of seats. The T is in the Platinum range which is manufactured to a higher standard, is part of the Modular range so fits onto the Base T (or base Z2) that was used for the infant carrier (Cloud T or Z2), this seat goes to 105cm or 18Kg weight of child. The functionality in terms of rotation etc are the same in both seats.

On the Sirona Gi isize the seat does not remove from the base so comes all as one unit.
Hi do you know how to change the straps to the lowest setting
You slot the straps out from the rear of the seat and then move them into the lower slot feeding from front to back and re-attaching the strap at the rear.
what about pipa urbn you can install with the ring adapter
The Pipa Urbn has launched since this video was made. The Urbn only fits using the separate adapters NOT the ring adapter.

Is it possible to use this car seat without the isofix base? I mean directly on the seat of the car?
When used in high back booster mode (i.e. group 2/3) it can be used just with the vehicle seat belt however in group 1 mode using the impact shield it has to be used Isofix with Top Tether this is imperative.

How do you fold the bassinet ?
The basisinet can be folded but it is not something you would do every day as it is too fiddly. I suggest only folding once you have finished using the bassinet and using the seat unit.

i cant believe theres not straps! if you dont want to use the shield you must use your cars unsafe seat belt? not a dual strap which is best? this is a huge flaw. Add straps guys!!!!
You seem to mis-undestand the seats use in the different stages. You must use the shield from 15 months upto 105cm (or 21Kg) then and only then do you use the adult seat belt from 105 cm to 150cm height of child.

The seat is fitted using the vehicle ISOfix points and the Top Tether anchor points in the vehicle. The impact shield then clicks into place for use for a child from 15 months to 21Kg or 105cm tall. Then the vehicle seat belt is used to restrain the child once in high back booster mode.

No it runs from the mains adapter provided.
After airbag came out; is there anyway to put it back ? is it gonna go automaticly ?
Andras, as the airbag will only deploy in an accident so the car seat would have to be replaced. This is exactly the same with all child car seats after an accident it has to be replaced as it will not function correctly again.

Agreed the Vista is probably its nearest competitor. The Gazelle has the advantage that separate adapters are not required to change from single to double mode.

Is the seat comfortable for sleeping
The seat has a small recline and with the impact shield in place the child can rest their arms and haed on it for sleeping.
My one isn’t folding no matter what I do :(
As with all pushchairs there is a knack to folding. You need to move ans squeeze the top white buttons whilst moving the handle down not forgetting to release the safety catch with your left hand. Continue to press the handle against the internal spring mechanism and the chassis will fold.
Do you know if this is flame retardant free /chemical free like their car seats?
Yes it will be in the UK as all infant carrier car seats have to be flame retardent.

Is the base included in the price of the car seat (699€)? Is it compatible with the Z base or do you have to buy a new base? I checked the Cybex website but couldn't find the information. Thank you!!!
HI Emilie, the seat and the base do not separate but are all one unit. It has to be this way as the "brains" are in the base unit and there has to be a physical wired connection to the shield containing the airbags for it to work correctly. As such the price is for the complete unit. Thanks

My seat don't clip on when I put it down
As with all modular systems you have to make sure you have the metal bars lined up. Also check that the instruction manuals are not in the way, as the base comes with instructions in many languages it is best to remove the ones not required only keeping the correct ones, I have known these getting in the way and stopping the seat click into place if not removed.

front wheel internal mechanism brakes and then it wobbles a lot. Didn't last 3 months before the pbs. And also, even in locked position, it tends to drift away form the center, so needs constant adjusting. Just poor design and poor part quality, too bad for such an otherwise very nice stroller.
Personally I have not had any problems with Thule quality in fact it tends to be far more reliable than other similar products from other manufacturers. However if you have only had it for that length of time I suggest you contact the retailer you purchased it from for a warranty inspection. Obviously if you want it for “hard core running” then obviously it is the fixed wheel Glide 2 that is required not the Urban Glide.

Hi Paul, thanks for the presentation. I am currently looking into buying the specific car seat. Can I still fit the Cybex Pallas G i-Size in my car even if it doesn't have the top tether anchor point installed (i.e. just using the 2 isofix points at the back of the seat?)
The Pallas G can only be used with the impact shield if the seat is fitted in the vehicle by isofix and top tether. In seat belt mode (child over 100cm ) the seat can be used either with isofix or without isofix and top tether.

Hi Laure, I'm sorry but as this seat is tested to the R129 i-size specification and is a forward facing seat the minimum age for use is 15months all children need to be rearfacing till they are at least 15months old. Thanks
