Conservatives NEVER Work Together
zhlédnutí 19KPřed 14 hodinami
When discussing a possible second American civil war, many conservatives think of the right-wing as a mostly unified faction, or at least one that can put aside its differences for a common goal. The right in America is too divided to fight a 2nd Civil War, and would almost certainly lose the war to the federal government if conservatives attempted to rebel against it. 🪶Donate to Monsieur Z on ...

Why John Brown Really Wasn't A Hero

John Brown is remembered fondly in American history as a martyr who sacrificed himself for the cause of abolition, and often we hear asked is John Brown a hero or a terrorist, with his crusade against slavery very commonly held above the horrendus actions he committed, especially by more liberal historians. Definitely won’t be a civil war but in this specific scenario the country side about to get overrun for resources by the cities could just implement a scorched earth strategy. They would more likely be able to move further away and to survive off the land over their city counterparts.

BS: nothing more than a socialist daydream. First all the Democrats they would recruit would get mad and go home when you refuse to use the proper pronoun or miss gendered them. So they wouldn’t be anybody to fight. The conservatives might hang around for a while but then college football season will start and they will be headed for the nearest TV with beer. What everyone refuses to accept is that if you get away from college campuses. Get out of the democratic run cities. What you would find it’s just a bunch of Americans going about their day-to-day life. Yeah they get pissed off but the next morning they gotta get up and go to work because somebody’s gotta pay the car note and somebody’s gotta pay the electric bill somebody’s gotta pay for the food for the kids and oh yeah we got to get that house note paid. But there’s always the weekends BBQ and sports.

Russian farmers and rural civilians were not armed like Americans either.

As an American I do think we need more strong democratic players in the world. I think a more integrated Europe is more likely than CANZUK, but if that’s what the other anglophone countries wanted I’d wholeheartedly support them. My concern is if a divisive conflict like the Iraq War comes up again, is there going to be a situation where the members disagree on whether to get involved? If three countries are for it and one against, will the dissenting country be dragged along? Or will all the nations have to sit it out? Also, and this is very important, even if the nations completely fused into one country, only half of CANZUK would be protected by NATO. Only territory in the Northern hemisphere is protected, which is why Hawaii and the Falklands are not covered despite belonging to member states. Either CANZUK would have to leave NATO, or all of NATO will have to agree to expand the scope of Article 5, which will then open it up to all territories of member states. Finally, what will this mean for other treaties CANZUK nations have? Will Canada pull out of its free trade agreement with the U.S. and Mexico? Will the other Anglo countries join the agreement? Also NORAD is the joint aerial defense force that is jointly operated by the U.S. and Canada. I can’t see the U.S. being willing to disengage from the defense of Canadian Airspace given how Canadian security is directly linked to the U.S. At least not without some reluctance.

Interesting analysis but you might want to consider the communists in the cities are largely unarmed, whereas the more rural areas are relatively heavily armed. Another consideration is that it would not be difficult to blockade routes into the mostly unarmed cities and watch the rats eat each other.

I enjoyed this video! One thing I was a little confused about though, it describes the Midwest as "largely Catholic," which I'd never really thought of it as. I'd considered it more of a "mixed" region. While there are definitely more Catholics than, say, the South, I thought those Midwestern states all had a significant Protestant majority. idk I'm sorry if I'm nitpicking, I'm not trying to correct, I guess I just don't understand and I'm curious how these things are judged? (I'm mostly saying this as a Midwesterner who experienced huge culture shock when I moved to the Catholic-dominant Mid Atlantic, as I'd previously considered it one of the major differences between the two regions.)

Miami is absolutely not a subregion of the south. The city, alongside south-east Florida extending north to the Martin County line, has its own unique civilization. This region is far more Hispanic than the US average, but it has little in common with the similarly-Hispanic southwest border region. Part of the reason for this differentiation is demographic; the southwest is largely Mexican-American, while most of SE Florida's Hispanic population comes from the Caribbean and South America. This factor, exacerbated by the excesses of the left within said populations' original homelands, tend to make SE Florida far more politically conservative than other largely-Hispanic areas of the US. Really, SE Florida is unique in terms of its relative "new-ness" to large-scale settlement, its cultural and financial ties to South America and the Caribbean, and the largely northeastern origin of its white population. The most accurate description I've heard of the region came from Joel Garreau's Nine Nations of North America; he refers to this civilization as "the Islands," and considers it predominantly Caribbean in character.
