My bearing was so seized, i had to have it pressed out. It was a nightmare. I thought they made a tool for this. But, it prolly would have broke.

I have a 2009 a4 2.0 and the drivers door is not opening with the remote. Have to use the key to open . The right rear door is not opening from the outside but opens from the inside please help.

How long would this usually take for a garage to carry out this repair. I have the same problem where my temperature is stuck on hot and when you turn it to cold it just stays the same. I’d buy the part off eBay if I find one but just wondering roughly how many hours labour it would be. I also seem to have a coolant leak that’s going into the drivers footwell from behind the dash somewhere. I’ve just got the car a 2012 focus and it’s just a couple of little problems it has. The coolant level has hardly dropped since I filled it up to max but it must’ve been dripping for ages before I got it as the drivers side carpet is soaked in coolant

Yes, thanks for help in locating the darn thing in the first place. Apart from eyes and fingers, an inspection camera might help too. Everything went fairly smoothly except undoing that bottom 14mm bolt. If you've got a small rattle gun (impact driver) it might help. Unfortunately mine were at work and trying to undo it with a ratchet (limited room) made for a pig of a job. Funny enough, reassembly took all of 5 mins! But then I knew where it all went. And it started first time. Heaven! Cheers.

I have similar issue I’ve tried the method on the video but didn’t work, The only time the door opens from the outside is when the engine is running and there’s someone sitting on the passenger seat and another person opens it from the outside then it will work, it will keep working for the next few minutes when the engine is turned off and the passenger is out but when you lock the doors with the remote and unlock it stops working. Please help !!!

do you know how to do it with keyless go? Should press ignition for 6 sec to get the "real" ignition on our will it pump even with a short press on the start button?

Tip for camera quality, most phones let you long press to fix the focus on a certain area, this should help with keeping the focus on the speedometer rather than it just autofocusing Great vid tho 💪

So just to clear things up as there are 2 oil pressure switches on my A5. The P164B00 code relates only to this switch, the other one would give a different code?

Video very useful but you will need to check whether its the serviceable type. Mine on a 2016 Logan II MCV is held together with rivits so cannot easily be opened. On another post somebody obtained a 2nd hand serviceable one (which is what I intend to do). Not sure whether the rivits can be drilled out and nuts added but wont be investigating this until obtaining a filter with bolts.

Hi. I have Peugeot 207. 2010. Petrol. I've done this but there's no Countdown like you show. The miles have gone to 0 and below is the mileage I've done with the spanner showing next to it. I don't know if I've reset it or not.

5years after posting and still helping people out... Just picked up 07 A4 3.0tdi Quattro with only fault code being intake mani runner position.. Not enough videos out there for minor repairs / tip/tricks.. Need More.. But thankyou, helped out alot

I have the exact same problem from a vehicle that i bought from bca. I changed the unit which i bought from the scrapyard but still nothing i get cold air and the vent setting is stuck on top vents only.. is there anything else i can do to fix the problem or should i buy another one maybe its faulty too 😅

Thank you for your video! I follwed every step and the problem has been fixed! But another issue appeared... When I close the door now and press central locking the door will be locked properly but when press central unlocking button again the door is still locked. And the only way to open it is from inside. What could go wrong?

I have the same problem Jetta 2014. It happened after the French nt door froze from cold I tried pull it hard then something happened. I open the cap that screwdriver is not there. I noticed when I slightly pull the internal handle but not actually open the door after locking and unlocking, I hear a click then I can open the door from the outside.
