I really like mine for my rifle/reloading but I have been getting velocities all over the place with my muzzleloader. I'm not sure if it's reading the sabot or what the issue is.

Loving my hybrid 46 on my smokeless using your barreled action. Did foul a beech plug using the funnel at the range due to condensation though.
I'm sorry, bro, but one more time on the moisture between the barrel and suppressor. Can you go into a little more detail than what you did? It would be great if you could. I have the same suppressor for my 45-cal smokeless muzzleloader.
Supressor traps the hot air. If you've got humidity, it's going to condensate if you don't let it breath.

Would you say the tripod adapter is snug enough to stay steady in high winds? I have a kestral adapter on my NL 12x42, and the wind has them vibrating. Thank you!
Wind is always tough to glass in, but it's a very rigid system.

Yo, low light performance nl 14x52 vs slc 15x56- what is the better bino? On paper the slc is the winner, but would love to hear about a real world comparison.

How much
This Gun as it sits would be around $11,350. You could save money by doing a solid color on the chassis as well as downgrading the trigger and action. The scope is also $4,300 of that price. You can get a great build on a chassis for around $5,500-$5,700 without a scope.

How much do I need to save for that exact rifle? That is freaking sweet! Bergara has one similar, but probably not as accurate. You guys have some sweet builds.

I love mine and you are exactly correct. Plenty of times I wouldn't set up my chronograph because it was a pain. Now in just a few seconds I am ready to go.
We definitely dropped the ball not exploring the one unit a little more, but we had actually shot over all 10 on another occasion as well without issue. So I’m fairly certain it was picking up interference from a neighbor. With that many stacked together they did need to be placed just right. When we actually recorded the video that was like the third time that day we had reset the shot string and that was first time we had an issue with any of them.
If i buy one it will be the on the right side second from the left....

So 1 out of 10 are not within spec or a 10% failure rate. A quality control issue like that is not good. Thanks for doing the video as testing 10 of the same units hasn’t been done before.
10 is too small of a sample size to get an actual idea of what kind of variance you should expect on something that's produced in this quantity. That one "faulty" unit may actually be in a group of 1% that fall out of the acceptable range, and these guys just happened to get it. They also should have swapped it to a different location to verify that the fault lies with that particular chrono, and not in some anomaly related to setup. Unlikely, I know, but that's part of the proper way to eliminate variables in empirical testing.
@@coltonholiday4872 True, but it’s very optimistic to assume this was just “one that slipped by”, and unless a dozen more people repeat the exact test with 120 completely different units, the current failure rate based upon the data is 10%.
@chrisgunsandguitars1403 correct. But the people testing the units, and likely seeing a significantly lower failure rate, is the manufacturer. Even at a 1% failure rate, out of spec units are still going to fall into consumer hands
@@coltonholiday4872 I’d like to see this test done with the new Lab Radar unit which is about the same size, does the same thing, costs the same, but has a metal case and made in North America instead of China. I’ve seen several side by side tests of the two and they were within 1-2fps of each other. Metal case is more durable IMO.

They are a true gamechanger. Interesting comparison. Given 1-2 fps generally...you can definitely live with that for load development and doping. Anyone wanna by ProChrono DGX?

A great test, and not something I’ve ever seen the likes of before. It does confirm that sometimes chronographs, even the best, can produce inaccurate readings.
I thought this would be testing 10 _different_ chronographs against each other to see if everything matches or if some are way out. 10 of the same is like which M&M tastes best. :/
