Horseshoe Bend Overlook - Page, Arizona
Horseshoe Bend is a horseshoe-shaped incised meander of the Colorado River, located near the town of Page, Arizona, United States. The hike is about .6 miles one-way to the overlook. The overlook is about a 1,000’ drop, looking down onto the Colorado River. In 2018, a fenced overlook area was created for viewing safety. However, visitors who want to venture away from the fenced partition are asked to exercise caution; the sandstone edges of the terrain can be unstable causing slides or breaks underfoot.

Somehow people manage to keep a 6ft wide car in a 10ft wide lane with 2ft to spare on either side traveling at speed, so that's 3/5ths lane capacity. Yet bicyclists having a track width of only a few inches can't keep their bikes to the right of the white line when possible and off the roadway. Sure, "share the road" but the same goes for you people. The roadway is meant for vehicles, not bicycles. You can't reach speed limits, you can't accelerate quickly enough. Have some respect for other people, ride in single file and stay the hell out of the road. Dude honking was justified because the dude up front couldn't keep his shit straight.

Hi Francis, do you know if you can leave boat anchored overnight on West side of the island? To go visit and camp at the park?
Yes you can. Boaters may stay overnight at our bayside park dock, with our bayside restroom facilities conveniently located for their use. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Very nice video. Thanks for making it. I m planning on moving to Bonita Springs in early 2022, and hopefully will also be bringing my 23 foot bowrider. Am vey concerned about how shallow the water is down there.
Thanks, water is very shallow during lowtide but the bottom is mostly sand,.no rocks. My outdrive has hit the bottom a number of times but no damage. Just need to be extra careful and stay on the markers.
