Denton Mateychuk Defense:
Defensively aggressive by using his quick feet, although the aggression sometimes backfires. Leverages body position effectively. Efficient at killing entries. Has a sturdy frame and plays physical for his size, but sometimes still gets outmuscled.
2024-04-12 WHL Round 2 Game 1: Attempts a pass from DZ to NZ but fails to connect with the teammate. Aggressively chases after the puck on the wall, and delivers a hard hit, leaving space open behind him and leading to a 2-on-1 chance for the opponents.
2024-05-11 WHL Finals Game 2: Gets to the loose puck after an opponent’s shot goes wide, but gets pinned against the board and makes an ill-advised choice to throw the puck up the middle, gifting the opponents an easy goal.
2024-05-15 WHL Finals Game 4: On PP, after a broken play, races back and gains body position on Nate Danielson to prevent a potential rush chance against.

Thank you Victor. This was definitely useful info. Makes it easier to understand (example, the PIMs bar). When I started looking at these I also thought the cards were projections, so thanks for the clarification.
