Auf diesem Kanal finden sich Videos aus/über Deutschlands ältester Stadt, Worms am Rhein, das gallorömische Borbetomagos, darunter auch einige kleinere Dokumentationen zur Geschichte der Stadt oder über ihre Sehenswürdigkeiten. Da kommen noch mehr Videos, wenn ich 'mal die Zeit finde... Daher bitte abonnieren, damit ich weiß, daß auch Interesse besteht.

Die "Elektrisch" in Worms, Tramway, Strassenbahnen 1906 - 1956: Bau, Betrieb, Fahrzeuge und Ende!
EN: History of the Tramway of Germany's oldest city, Worms, between 1906 and 1956, plus the following bus replacement, including many original documents about the planning and construction of the tramway.
DE: Geschichte der Straßenbahn oder "Elektrisch'" in Worms am Rhein von 1906 bis 1956 als der Betrieb auf Omnibusse umgestellt wurde, inkl. vieler Originaldokumente über Planung, Bau und Betrieb der Tram in Worms. Das war meine Präsentation für die Buchvorstellung meines Straßenbahnbuchs (Sutton Verlag, Erfurt) in der StaBi Worms im Dezember 2012. Vielen Dank an alle, die damals für das Buch Bilder zur Verfügung gestellt haben, insbesondere der ehemalige Wormser Straßenbahnführer Richard Englert, der viele Dokumente, Memorabilia und Phots vor der Zerstörung gerettet hatte, als die ehemalige Wagenhalle (Straßenbahndepot) in der Bebelstraße abgerissen wurde.
Sorry, kein Kommentar, sondern nur etwas Hintergrundmusik, denn der Text auf der Präsentation müßte ja eigentlich alles erklären...

Danke für die schöne Zusammenfassung. Wie schon im Abspann erwähnt. Es ging einiges verloren oder wurde umstrukturiert. Besonders traf es die Innenstadt und seine Geschäfte. Erinnere mich gerne an die schönen alten Zeiten als Kind. Da gab es noch Siegel und Rheka.
