I am fortunate to have wild hedgehogs visit my garden each night throughout the year so have decided i will post videos of their activity - each one usually visits the feeder 5 or 6 times a night, which can often lead to a bit of pushing and shoving.
It is very nice to see endangered wildlife thriving here so keep them well fed and hopefully they will be happy and continue to come for many years!

Obviously when this was broadcast, TV sound was mono and TV speakers were pretty terrible. So the concerts were simulcast on FM radio so you could listen to the better audio with the sound on the TV turned down. Picture was 576i. Those were the days. Now, of course, I scan obituary columns in search of absent schoolfriends.

Recuerdo que la primera vez que oi a Marillion fue porque llego a mis manos un recopilatorio de grupos del reading 83 (creo xd ) con grupos mas bien heavys, y sorpresa cuando escucho a unos desconocidos cantando una tal * He knows you know *... y ... Pummmmm....amor a primera vista podria decirse. Desde ese dia dia y hasta el ultimo dia , siempre Marillion. PD No quiero molestar a nadie pero para mi , Marillion es Fish y viceversa.

Like Genesis in the Peter Gabriel days is Marillion in the Fish days indeedy. Opening with Assassin. Brave. Says it all really. And I have been a Marillion fan now for 25 years. Love both eras.
Letztes Konzert mit Fish war am 23. Juli 1988 im Craigtoun Country Park im schottischen St. Andrews. Berlin war das vorletzte Konzert vor rund 120.000 Zuschauern am 18. Juni 1988 in der DDR.

I saw them on this tour in a smallish venue in England. 12th Feb 1988. Pressed against the stage, dead center, directly in front of Fish for 1.5 hours. Brilliant. I took some great photos that evening and still have them. So so long ago....

I remember I was an 15 jear old child in Ceausescu's Romania, where at that time the rock-pop music was very very censored. We reached that kind of music only from occidental radios just like Free Europe. I remember me sitting near my small radio, with my ear nearly inside tha box, the reception vas so wrong. First listened Marillion with Incommunicado, was so fantastic!

@@aj.2004 I lived in Edinburgh in the 1980s 90s and had a marillion fan as a flat mate sound bloke salt of the earth except his taste in music well some of it. I listened attentively over the years only fair as we would all share our musical tastes. But numerous plays of Marillion only made me think oh dear we want to be Genesis a very poor mans Genesis its not for the want of listening but sorry to me thats what they are a poor mans Genesis with Gabriel singing that is I liked a lot of early Genesis from Revelation to Gabriel leaving the group but there is nothing original in Marillion you can hear where its coming from im sorry but to my ears and quite a few people I know are of the opinion this band got very lucky. Technically great musicians but lacking completely in original ideas Im not knocking the band or anyone's taste but if anybody has any nous they know the difference between originality and just plain plagiarism and Fish and co have that in spades ♠️ 🤔
@@andrewjohnstone963 I 100% agree with you there. I’m a Genesis fan myself and can connect the dots. Over the years they shifted away from that especially when their new singer “H” joined the band
Thank you for the concert excerpt and the touching memories of this beautiful time. I still love Marillon and Fish to this day. And you can see in the concert that they still have the most loyal fans in the world. There is hardly a bad album to this day: Some albums are legendary, others are unique and even some "experiments" have succeeded in the end. Marillon is a part of my life.....
