I Broke Down on the Interstate | Why Do New Trucks Have So Many Issues?
This has to be the worse place possible to breakdown. I really have to get this truck to a shop asap. I have no idea why these newer trucks have so many issues. You would think we would progress as a society but we'd rather dumb down our society and technology in the name of consumerism. We have no choice but to watch other countries progress past ours. New CDL driver here, with all endorsements (Minus Passenger etc.). Considering Hazmat, and Flatbed, in that order. Definitely enjoy your channel, along with the other African Americans that promote this employment and lifestyle. Keep doing what you’re doing, and traveling with your dog is a plus.

Sysco Philadelphia is my home been a delivery driver for almost 3 years now you just talked to my supervisor Drew. Door 35 to 38 is for cooler products 40 to 62 freezer and the lower numbers for dry goods.

I tell some of these New Trucker’s that they are making the same Amount of Money today that I Made over 25 years ago. When I started the Average Pay in the Mid 1980’s was about $400.-$900. Weekly. Because the Cost of Living was Cheaper. But after 2004-2008 Gas Prices started Skyrocketing from an Average of $1.30 a Gallon to an Average of $1.95 to $3.50 a Gallon and it ain’t Never stopped going up.
That's so crazy. No progression. But more expenses. Unbelievable! I hope they start protecting truckers bc we sacrifice too much to be treated the way we are. We have to start it first though. Treating our fellow truckers like we use to. It used to be so much more comradery. We need the unity back so we can move as a unit and make these walls shake with politicians and unfair companies
