Heyaa, loved the energy🙌! I'm not really sure if it is the best time to ask but, I was wondering if I could help you create a better distribution by working on post-production like better storytelling through Edits, Keywords, think catchy intros and outros, or even some engaging short clips! Would love to chat if you're interested and keep creating good content:)
@@Pratap-p3o reach out to me on instagram, I do everything myself so I would be interested in an editor!
@@SteelDogFab Surely sent, pls have a look:)
Put some locking compound on the outside of the rivnut before you put it in the sheet metal, it helps it to not rotate...
Rivitnuts. Fine if they are not painted. The bolt will cross thread if you are not careful and will come loose and spin. Suggest you run tap through the rivet to clear the paint to avoid grief.
Nicely done!
@@jimlebiedz5723 thank you again! It was a fun project
Here's a video using them! czcams.com/video/JGuKI90-Y_o/video.html
Thank you, I was always curious about how those Rivets worked. Now I want to get some and try them out.
You are welcome! They defenitly have their uses. This set came with a bunch both metric and standard
I really like the play mat on the hood.
I watch pretty much anything that Cleetus puts out, so I do have some merch and it makes a fun backdrop lol
Awesome
Glad you came back to see it finished and installed !
That is one good looking bumper! Nice work!

Hello, I was analyzed your YT channel and I saw that in your channel have some problems, that's why your channel is not growing. Your videos is not reaching to targeted people, not getting engagement. Do you want to know these problems? If you can give me permission I can tell here, . Where Can I tell? here or email? Cool I had not heard of Move bumpers before. Just getting back into welding after a several year hiatus and this is very inspiring. Can’t wait to see the finished product.
here you go, finished and installed (minus trimming the fender liners) czcams.com/video/hxAZBDOJslg/video.htmlsi=1F_3A1jlz3xDcZRw
What timing i was looking at how hard it would be to build one
If you take your time, they go pretty easy. I have probably built at least 10 of these over the years. The instructions are only really a guideline to assembly so I figured I would make some content about it

Really trying to understand why this video was made
I wouldn’t think to hard about it, I don’t even know why I did
Thank you very much for sharing!
Try my esab helmet.
Bring it over lol
To me the esab a60 is way too big. When laying down you can't get in tight spots because you're like darthvader. Sure it's good just standing there in a big open area though.
i've been working a lot with a spool gun recently and the welds always seem to be kind of ugly. Like you I found the normal spray arc MIG more reliable and gave a better finish than the Pulse MIG. I've also found that using anti spatter spray helps keep the finished welds and work area cleaner.
I need to make a new video, again, with more hours under my belt. When I first did the “pulse” setting, I was welding 1/8” to 1/4”, so I really should of turned the machine up to 3/16-1/4
I’m on day 3 no smoke 💨 you got this bro
Keep up the hard work!
Spool gun welds are so hideous, but it sure beats tig welding overhead.
Great review! I was wondering if somebody put this on without welding for the same period of time, how the filter looks like? Thanks.
Thank you! Depends on the air quality where you live I would guess!
FYI! I don't know who you are trying to appeal to with the stupid face you made in the thumbnail, but it ain't craftsman!
Check Out this new video: czcams.com/video/6kyYK0yPmHw/video.html
I thought these were now obsolete
No not really, they are a much more affordable solution vs an Aluminum Push-Pull gun
That arc length may be too low
The next time I’m running it I might end up playing around with the arc length.
Tig it my dude
I TIG welded the angle parts of the frame. Part of the reason I’m doing this headache rack was to use and test the SpoolMate 200 that I purchased. I do prefer TIG it’s my favorite process, with that being said, Spool still has its place for doing more work, faster
Throw a torch on it.. preheat helps a lot with spoolgun
That’s a good idea JR
I didn't know Alu had a Mig version, only seen TIG. But now I know why.
It’s much faster than TIG welding, but, well you can see the video lol
@@SteelDogFab what about Post heat-treatment, a huge thing like that can't be fit inside an oven 🤔
@@69Deez_Nutz69For a headache rack there’s no real reason to heat treat it. Welded aluminum can recover some strength over time by aging naturally. It’s not an engineered frame or anything so it should be fine
@@SteelDogFab ah, the mythical "age hardening" process. I've read about that on a bike forum discussing about Alu frames welded without any heat treatment. Still, I had hoped to procure my own experience based on that process!

Ok, i see your plan for this one, and i get it. But the NEXT turbo-ready CIS 1.8 car you get (Never going to happen), I'd love to see a build series on re-turbo-ing a CIS 1.8. I've owned one of these for many years and have always wondered what it could do with a snail-plus-CiS system
So the previous owner had this car turboed with the k-jetronic. The Greedy Rebik III ran a secondary injection system. I guess it also had a fuel pressure regulator from a Volvo that was boost referenced. So, under boost, it would also increase the fuel pressure for I think the secondary injectors. It was (or is I should say) a pretty complex mostly mechanical system. He used to race it in AutoCross, and he said with the turbo charger he was pretty frequently breaking CV shafts and occasionally transmission. I decided to go with the Aces EFI because, well it’s something different and it should be easier to tune/work on. Unfortunately the parts cost of the jetronic stuff keeps going up. This way I have a serviceable fuel system, that down the road could go on something else.
Bro use leather gloves 😭 not mechanix them hoes will melt straight thru
