The Ender dragon is comfirmed to not appear in the film because for some unexpecable reason, they changed the plot, and that plot is in the description.

I would strongly recommend Distant Horizons to give a more open world feel. Also, the unanimated player can look out of place with Fresh Animations so I would reccomend installing Fresh Moves as well which animates the player. If you want to have your face animated, you need to get the expressive version and put some extra pixels on your skin, but there is a guide to that on the download page.
