Just a regular RC enthusiastic who been in the hobby since 2013... I like "Mostly" Japanese WWII planes and some other WWII planes. If it's unique, I would definitely love it!
Besides RC, I also do collect WWII Japanese Militaria. Would likely to use this page as my documentary purposes.
Been collecting since 2015 and starting it now still not too late.

Well, it seems that it is not a good idea to go fly without a properly fine-tuned engine and a CG towards aft of the plane. Downwind didn't helped either.

Whatever the cause I'm sorry that it ended in such a bad crash.
base on the crash investigation, the manifold from the carburetor to the engine broke during flight, thus the engine died while flying...
Zeros don’t usually land or make it back anyway
Looks and sounds too windy for a maiden and I am guessing airspeed on that downwind leg got too slow.
told the pilot not to maiden on windy day... sometimes Ego eat the plane...

This is such a great plane when it flies but I think they’re cheaply made. I’ve had to replace mine twice. First a burnt out motor and then connection issues.
cheap plane came with cheap materials, buttttt.... they flies nice...

Is that motor running like it should be? Sounds a bit rough or is it the prop blades breaking the sound barrier?
The engine should not have sounded like that, the factory setting are incorrect that the spark fire before / after the piston TDC which resulted in under performance or weird noise "according to our tuner". So, we still proceed with maiden-ing this plane and back to workshop for more adjustment. we shell see this engine perform nicely as it should in the coming weeks

I have this plane. I love it. Thanks for sharing the video. I'm ordering a new 14x8 prop from FMS. SAW THE GLITCH!! The FMS receivers are no good. I replaced mine with FrSky and havent had ANY dropouts since. UPDATE: I see below it was more than likely a bad UBEC on the ESC. .
changed a new Predator ESC and now she still flies until today!
What size is the propeller ?
Propeller blade length: 15cm/5.91inch according to factory.. however, I've still have not broken mine...
Surprise 😮 ! Nice aircraft but sadly its electronics do not allow binding with other transmitters. It has a S-bus port too but, unfortunately, it's non-functional. Too bad, but one is stuck with a toy-transmitter.
Does this version fly well without stabilization devices?
yes you have to be very careful with the length of the prop bolts...
one mistake and you're in a long ride hahaha....

Small fast warbirds need very little elevator deflection and i always add about 30 to 40 percent expo for high speed flying for a more in control flight
