I’m an anime fan, a Sagwa fan, a movie buff, and one of the last surviving fans of YTV and Teletoon in its glory days. Before everything changed and got ruined. I love to show episodes of TV shows like “Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat”, scenes from movies that are interesting, as I love Japanese animation. In fact, I saw for how anime TV shows and anime movies were on those two tv channels that I’ve mentioned. YTV and Teletoon.
Patton (1969) scene- Two Jackasses For General Patton
There have been famous commanders and generals, whose full names are George Patton. There is Confederate colonel George Patton Sr. (1833-1864), his grandson U.S Army general George S. Patton Jr. (1885-1945), and lastly, Major General George S. Patton IV (1923-2004).
In this scene from this 1969 movie of the same name, American actor George C. Scott (1927-1999) gives an outstanding performance as this famous WW2 general. Which was why he deserved to win Best Actor as the Oscars.
Or in other words, young adults will like him better in this, as well as General Buck Turgidson in “Dr. Strangelove” by Stanley Kubrick. Not, I repeat NOT as that poacher in that lousy yen-sid flick movie about mice in Australia.

At a concert somewhere near the desert, John Denver did his most famous country music including this in 1972. Not to mention that he appeared on the Muppet Show once. But for this song, it inspired the people at Studio Ghibli to do their kind of ‘Country Road’ song in the masterpiece, “Whisper of the Heart”. Directed by Yoshifumi Kondō.
