i just looked to respond to this and it looked like ur comment was thumb'd down. idk y but that was fixed. had an obscure canadian comedy called corner gas playing. i usually have that screen playing something when i jam.

thanx dude, this was all stock footage from my video editing software. i usually use very little of that stuff but i had no good videos or photos of my own to fill out the time of that track.

i have done nothing to promote this video but tell people i know about it. dunno what you mean by PROMOSM?

i just plugged mine in ( orba 2 ) and in preferences on MPC beats it pops up instantly as "artiphon orba 2 usb" as both an midi input and a midi output. it also instantly assigned the orba's 8 slices to the A tab of sample pads on the mpc software dashboard. i have not used the orba as a midi controller just as a stand alone unit. do know this device can be very buggy when used with the provide software with crashing, dead ends to device ability, and the loss of previously recorded data. there is also a noticeable amount of buzzing produced by the unit if you are pulling audio directly from the orba's aux port, that noise gets louder as more of the lights turn on especially when adjusting the volume on the unit its self, lots of statiky buzzing going on while the led lights pop on to show the volume level you are selecting. as a stand alone unit it does quite well and is a bit of a secret weapon for beat/music makers looking to find new melody structures for their music. for that one quality alone and how well it does this the orba is worth it. but i would be very speculative on its reliability as a midi controller. i do hope that helps, and i appreciate opportunity to do so. let me know any time if i can answer something else.

i actually never tried syncing the po and orba. im practicing most of my equipment pairing using ear timing and physical merging of sequemces... currently i am doing this most on the pocket op KO and the atruria micro freak.... getting some very interesting results.... videos pending. thanx for subbing in homie, you can chat here with me about ne thing. wanna collab? im all about it. just here for fun, learning and of course connecting. i appreciate ur msg and am open to some pocket operator colaborations... lets smash some sequemces together and see what happens <("<) (>")>

it may be the coolest one ive pushed out of the pocket operator with no other equipment. fun fact- those deep oohhs and growls are the chord instrument pitched down with the punch in FX. it was originaly an orba chorus sound i pitched up after sampeling it into the pocket operator. doin that allowed me to "un pack" a compressed sound that apears later in the srquence and is qued at will so something new can happen later in the track. pocket operator sampeling ftw

oh yea that would be nice, i really want a sdand alone unit of any size that i can run my audio through and effect live from multiple chanels. woukd cut down on the amount of time i would soend editing sounds and structures for intros and breaks. a mixer would be nice!
