I've bought the Vi tory Lady Nelson and liked it at first, but the instructio s are not color illustrated, just black and white. A brief set of instructions. I find the wood is snapping very easily.y, especially walnut veneer, but also the lime wood which I am soaking. Its not easy, this is my second model

I built a modified and accurized model of La Couronne bas on the Corel kit. The Mantua kit is based on the interpretation of the vessel's design by Vincenzo Lusci. La Couronne is a fantastic example of the extravagance of early 17th century men-of-war, when kings sought to build extravagantly decorated great ships to show the magnificence of their nations. The Mantua model doesn't feature this unfortunately, but La Couronne was heavily armed fore and aft with 8 sakers (6 pound guns) at end end of the ship, making her a floating fortress.

Interesting, bought this kit 2 years ago but only unboxed yesterday. Didn't get the colour booklet you have and nothing to identify the the various bit of wood that need cutting to make the deck pieces - this is my first model boat build so thank goodness the salesman talked me out of buying the Endeavour model for a first attempt! Instructions aren't great so relying on CZcams etc for more info.

This is a big waste of time
