Maturing is realizing that charlotte only wanted Lewis to love her completely and she literally went crazy trying to get rid of the one thing that threatened their relationship from the start (Cleo) in order to have Lewis all for herself once and for all. Charlotte was the so called “victim” all along charlotte was actually present in the relationship rather than Lewis who always left her and even abandoned her on their dates when his ex and her best friends were in trouble.
