Luis Chavez I used the curved sticky mount that came with the camera on my own helmet
528i e39 2000 worked just the video shows

Manny Espinosa Thanks, mine (1996 520i) doesn't seem to have an obd2 port. Just one under the bonnet. I know where it should be, i've seen it on other exact same models but there's not even the telltale sign that there was ever one.
I know this is five years late but even the round style plug is OBD2 you just need a cheap OBD2 to BMW 20 pin adapter.@@KyleMontanaro

hey can u help me i have a bmw 528i and i have aalmost sounds like a chain noise on start up and when i rev motor it happens sometimes
Make sure that you have a sufficient amount of oil and if that doesn't work it could just the VANOS sound when it ages
Ok checked that and it sounds like sound is coming from under motor.
