The bizarre case that inspired Wicked Little Letters [Spoilers]
The film Wicked Little Letters starring Olivia Coleman is based on a real life mystery from the 1920s
Residents in the small town of Littlehampton Sussex were tormented by a batch of wicked letters. The tale involves some very rude language, someone getting framed and sent to jail for a crime she didn’t commit and an ingenious plan that eventually caught the real culprit.

zhlédnutí 98Před rokem
On average your friends have more friends than you. The Friendship Paradox was first observed by the sociologist Scott L Feld. Essentially people who have a lot of friends are more likely to be your friend, than people who don’t have many friends, meaning you are more likely to be friends with people who have an above average number of friends. London’s Smallest Police Station? The Secret building on Trafalgar Square
zhlédnutí 97Před 2 lety
There is a tiny building on the corner of Trafalgar Square in central London. Sometimes described as London’s smallest police station. As far as I can tell this isn't strictly true, but it was apparently used by Metropolitan Police for quite a while. The building is hidden under a lamp and would just look like a bulky lamp post if it wasn't for the doors.

Why Don't Sloths Fart?
zhlédnutí 1,1KPřed 2 lety
I recently discovered that sloths don’t fart, so I made an animation about it, of course. Their digestive systems work slowly enough that any gasses are absorbed into their bloodstream and then can leave their bodies in… another way. Mithridates VI: Can Humans Become Immune to Poison?
How they moved it?????
I just saw this movie and wanted to find out more about the story. It was great!
The image everyone sees as scrolling by is a spoiler. Let people decide if they want the plot spoiled before clicking. 😡
I stopped watching halfway through. Maybe I missed something because I gave up at the twist in the middle but I was just so frustrated by then that I had to turn it off. While the acting is commendable, the plot felt predictable as everything we have seen in film since 2016 was written by misguided leftists. It seemed like a typical formula film portraying Christians and men as the primary antagonists, suggesting that these groups are the issue. True innovation in storytelling would involve moving beyond stereotypes and not casting large segments of society as villains based on their gender or beliefs.
I found the real life story very interesting, but also enjoyed the film. I don't think they were trying to pass it off as historically accurate so it didn't bother me that some things were not as they would have been in real life, I found the differences interesting rather than frustrating. I think because she was such a big role they needed Edith to appear sympathetic so pushed some of the blame a little more to her father than was perhaps reported/true at the time, but sometimes a bit of creative license is required to make it entertaining. I think Edith would have been very unlikeable otherwise, but I can see why the controlling religious father might feel a little stereotypical.
10/10 🕵️🧑🔬👮💌📩📮
Thanks for the video! I just saw the movie and loved it. But was curious how much of it was true. In the film, Woman Police Officer Moss is the one who solved everything while the male officers are a bunch of bungling, sexist idiots. And she's Indian. Looks like a lot of liberties were taken, but I still enjoyed it.
Thank You for the Informative Video. I Never knew about Private Prosecution. 😊💖🗽👍
Sounds like by the end the only one who still refused the believe the truth was the judge! Too bad they couldn’t get another judge, take it to a different court or put the judge on trial afterwards for corruption!😂
อยากให้แปลซับเป็นภาษาไทยบ้างค่ะ.เพราะต้ิงการเอาข้อมูลมาก่อสร้างกำแพงวัดค่ะ.ขอขอบพระคุณค่ะ
Thanks, now I don’t have to watch the movie anymore 🙏
It’s worth seeing it anyway because the mystery isn’t all that surprising in the movie.
Thnx Was curious after seeing the trailer
I’m fairly certain that words like Pussy,Cum and Ass weren’t in circulation in the UK in the 1920s, I’m also certain that about 99.9% of the population was white. Jessie Buckley is a fantastic actress but I won’t pay money to watch wokeness.
This was GREAT!
This channel is great. Keep up the good work friend!
Thanks
fucking judge
There's nothing a ton of liquor can't fix
Unpunished evil goes rampant... Hence Edith became more and more adacious in her petty crimes and started making stupid mistakes which eventually caused her downfall
What a stupid judge
Right? Even more stupid than Edith who didn't think of changing her own handwriting...
Edith more than likely was a covert narcissist. Meaning she could manipulate people into thinking she was something she wasn't.

Best vid ever.

Great video exactly what I was looking for
Sweet animation! Really enjoyed the video. Hope to see more of your work!
Still want my metric system for time. F months, f them very much and their inconsistent lengths.
Plz don't call the eyes rubbish ask them who don't have them it is perfect for survival
Fair point. I could have phrased it better. Thanks for the feedback.
Interesting recommendation- little late to the video release though
i really support your idea
im your 100th subscriber!
Haha, thanks.
I find your animation and storytelling interesting that I wish the videos are longer. But nonetheless, your vids are at par with other educational channels that I watch. Great job!
Thanks for the feedback. I would like to make longer videos. My plan this year was to make lots of shorter ones and next year to start doing slightly longer ones, but I might do some longer ones sooner.
As if having fewer friends than all my friends wasn't bad enough, google tells me that people with more friends are also likely to be happier, live longer, and have a larger brain.
I wonder if that means the average person's average friend is also happier, longer living with a larger brain than them, or if it doesn't work like that?
Nasa is full of shit.
That is one imaginatively named planet.
Sure is!
How in the hell did I get this recommended

Cute little thing. I wonder if they make good pets
Very interesting, i would say i wanted to more though....this was way too short 😐
I'm glad you want to see more animation, will take a lot more time though.

Hey, I'm gonna rent a pineapple this weekend and get all the pu$$y! Someone once said.
Awesome sauce!!!
Why is no one watching dis???
Haha thanks.
Nice video, smooth animation, great work ! 🍍
Thanks 😀
nice work man, wish you the best with the channel.
Thanks 😀
Super interesting video, and great animation!
Thank you ☺️
Great video Matt 🍍 also just to be controversial I like pineapple on pizza (mushroom & pineapple is my version of a hawaiian 🍕). I wonder if any of the guests would try and eat the pineapple, or would that be a huge faux pas
Thanks, I know plenty of people like pineapple on their pizzas so I won't judge... too much 😜 I didn't find any stories of people trying to steal the pineapples for themselves, but it wouldn't surprise me.
They already are. They drink soda and that's a poison!
Wow your videos are great For a small channel you deserve way more subscribers keep up the good work
Thanks, hopefully will be able to make more soon.
I can see how everyone using GMT/UTC would goof people up though, it's too similar to the local time we're accustomed to.
