Hello. I'm BraveBowmanTBW, but most people call me Brave. This is my CZcams channel. I do stuff like games and other random stuff like whatever I feel like. I play mostly Mega Man games, but have also played others like various Smash Bros. games and Dragalia Lost. I also occasionally make animations too, but not very often because they are a pain to make.

Mega Man 6 - Wily Stage 3

This stage starts off like a regular fortress stage, then turns into a boss rush stage. It kind of reminds me of Wily 3 from Mega Man 2. Both are short water stages with an abundance of spikes. The only issue is that this stage doesn't have Big Fish. :( This game's boss rush isn't too bad. The health drops, as usual, allow you to pretty much brute force bosses if you have their weaknesses.

Short and easy stage. The only parts that gave me trouble were the beginning section with the Shield Attackers and the Yoku Blocks. Everyone hates Yoku Block sections, so I'm sure you all get it. My scheme for world domination has faild! This stage has a few areas with tricky platforming. Pretty much any section with Wall Blaster 2s and/or Peats are tough to deal with. I ever know Zero isn't Protoman, but I ever believe Megaman X is the same but upgraded Megaman, don't make sense Megaman was a robot like a child and Megaman X is like a Teen and they're being different robots
Rock and X are different people. One way you can tell they are different, apart from the obvious design differences, is that they have different eye colors. There's a lot of nitty gritty details that proves their differences, but it's a bit too much to write in a CZcams comment.

I'm almost disappointed that Zero doesn't have his own ending in MMU. Probably due to time constraints but still, at least some text saying that "Zero destroyed mankind" or something would have been nice. Still awesome though that we got one of the best Mega Man games that even Capcom couldn't make. lol No disrespect to Capcom but I wish they would respect the Blue Bomber more.

You can change the window size through Config.exe in the files (It's the Dr. Light icon).

Huh, these levels seem like theyd be extremely hard for megaman. Like dam, a boss rush and lots of platforming. Btw a cool detail i love is that you made zero battle bass in a similar way to how zero (enemy) battles megaman on this fangame
They are really hard as Mega Man. Bass is just really easy to parry because of how projectile heavy his fight is. I didn't intend on making it look like the boss fight, but it's funny how it sort of turned out that way.

Zero is the winner
Considering how he treats X series as a Taboo subject, I am 100% convinced that RoahmMythril would not even touch the X skin if it was in MaGMML3. With that being said, I will go ahead and say that I don't like the sprite. I think you should have made a different head for X than pasting Mega Man's head on it. Also the sprite leaves a lot to be desired. I understand this was a long time ago, however I just found the video and wanted to share my thoughts.
I have no idea who RoahmMythril is. I actually didn't make the base sprite, it's from official Capcom promotional artwork (This one specifically: i0.wp.com/themmnetwork.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/capcom30.jpg?ssl=1). I just used it as a base for the other sprites. I hope that clears things up a little.

Sort of, the new music/sfx was made by the original devs, but they were added to the game by a modder. The version was put on the cutstuff forums's Rockman7fc topic, but I'm not exactly sure what page it's on.
Junk shield is probably the most useful shield in all of megaman.
I would say utility-wise, Jewel Satellite is better. But combat-wise it's Junk Shield hands down.
Power Gear Acid Barrier isn't too shabby either.
I prefer the Jewel Sattelite, but also like the Water Shield in Mega Man 10 because it's a lifesaver in that game. Most other weapons suck.

In this version, when bosses get hit by theirs weakness, they don't get mandrill stunned

Rockman 8 FC is done in a slightly different engine. To my knowledge there is no way of changing much besides maybe music/sound effects.

What are your portrait print effects?
Peony: (Light) Dragon Haste +13%, (Light) Skill Prep +45% G!Prince: (Light & Sword) Force Strike +50%, (Light & Sword) Critical Damage +15% H!Laxi: (Light) Force Strike +45%, Defense +6% G!Zena: (Light) Force Strike +40%, (Light & Staff) Recovery Potency +20% Obviously getting the highest level prints would be ideal. Also both Laxi and Zena would want Lucky Hitter as their second portrait ability as opposed to what I used. Getting good print rng can be a pain but a general rule of thumb is to put supportive abilities on supports (Skill Prep, Skill Haste, Dragon Haste (iirc Dragon Haste does not stack, it only takes the highest value), etc.) and dps wants damage abilities (Force Strike, Lucky Hitter, Critical Damage, etc.). Hope this helps.

SAME Getting a clear was an absolute pain. Make sure you have all the weapon bonuses unlocked + encyclopedia bonuses for some extra dps.

X DiVE confirms this matchup is actually somewhat accurate in canon. Bass mentions successfully holding his own against Zero (or at least bringing him to a stalemate) a long time ago in the Super Bass event when he sees ViA, and assuming it's not just medium limitations, Bass does seem rather fine here after emptying his health bar until Wily runs him over.
I would easily believe Super MegaMan and Super Bass are both at the level of(or even slightly above) base X and base Zero... at least until we bring X's Armors and Zero's States to the mix.
Both Bass and Megaman would have a fair chance against a freshly created Zero. By the time of the X series there's been centuries of advancements in both defensive and offensive technology that a freshly built Zero wouldn't have. Megaman or Bass going up against a freshly built Zero would be last gen robots with upgrades going up against a next gen robot. Sure, the latter might have the advantage but the former wouldn't be totally outclassed.

@@AkabalthyWhere is that said? It's a little unfair to say he's on the level of a Pantheon when those pods only shoot and walk compared to all of Rock's abilities and powers.

Let's just admit it. Zero is broken. He gets a saber that near one shots all enemies and doubles as a long range spear move, a slam move that not only one shot anything he touches, but also slams down shockwaves for even more damage, And an uppercut that deals about as much damage to a robot master, as Mega Man using that robot's actual weakness. And the slam does that too! Oh and he can just... Cancel projectiles... of almost any kind. The only way to effectively die as him without doing it on purpose, is to be bad at platforming. But with a double jump AND a dash that summons hollow Zeros, that home in on enemies, AND THE FACT THAT THE DASH CAN BE USED IN THE AIR!!!!! WITH THE DOUBLE JUMP!!!!!!!!! It's hard to acsedenly die. And he probably gets more things that I don't know about. Zero! Is! Absolutely! B-R-O-K-E-N-!-!-!-!
Zero is totally broken in the late stages, I agree, but that's just what makes him so fun to play as, y'know? Early game with Zero is almost the same as early game with Mega Man, (although Zero starting out with lackluster range compared to Rock, dashing is way better than sliding which makes him a bit better at the start) it's only really once you've beaten a few robot masters does the game become a cakewalk. The game's somewhat brutal level design in the Wily stages can get a few cheap deaths out of you from time to time. Other than that though, yeah, it's really hard to die as Zero once he gets his full moveset. I sort of think this was done on purpose though due to, one, you have to beat the game on normal or higher as Mega Man first to get him, and two, he's canonically way stronger than Mega Man (as shown at the end of the game as Mega Man). So Zero being broken is just a fun reward to burn through the game with. But that's just my two-cents.
@@BraveBowmanTBW I know. And it is fun to just bust some nuts and bolts with Zero, even vs the Blue Bomber himself but after a few games with Zero, the game suddenly becomes a bit TOO easy. Even without Zero's full move-set, The Robot Masters, their stages, and even the Wily stages and bosses just get cut down to Toad Man levels of simple. Just rush up to them and start slashing away, and they burn out faster than Atomic Fire to Wood Man. And It would make sense for Zero to be so hard to get. With a game as hard as Mega Man Unlimited on Normal+ difficulty, with cheap deaths and awkward boss fights, (Glue Man can literally slide along the background parts that are almost camouflaged to the real background. Huh?) Zero Would be perfect reward for such pain. But it's just too perfect. If the game gives me choices for mutable characters, I want the to simply feel like, another option. Not a way to get over the games otherwise bad design. Mega Man and Bass had the same problem. For Mega Man, platforming was like trying to sew all your fingers together. Sure you can do it, but my god it hurts. But with Bass, all the platforming problems just disappear, with double jumps and dashes. Zero and Bass make their respective games way too easy no matter how much of a move-set they got. When you play Super Mario Bros 2, you don't make a selection out of one of the four characters, because playing as the other three, is absolute trash. That's my problem with Zero here. Tone it down a little and maybe it will be a bit more fair and fun, as we're used to Mega Man's Challenging gameplay. Ya know?

This is kinda old but you know its frightening to think that Zero's power without being completed is so great that even his own power is crushing the life out of him without any concern for his own well being only hell bent with the need to kill. I always hoped that Zero's story would play before the main game where you see Zero breaking free from containment (thus referencing his most likely first rampage which destroyed Wily's Lab/Castle) however before he could do some serious damage his own power finally fries his circuits for the first time allowing Wily to put him in the basement of his lab where Megaman foolishly goes into and runs into Zero and we all know what happens then.
I gotta say, that is a very cool explanation for Zero's life drain/steal mechanic.

@@Kakashi99999 Congrats on the clear! I didn't think to rerecord the trials that changed weapon pools. Since getting your comment though, I've decided to start doing that. Since Chthonius is currently live, I'll try and record that one next. Once some of the other trials like Kamuy and Thor are available again, I'll be sure to upload updated versions as well.
