I personally don't think he'd want to try that again. As I mentioned in the video, he tried waiting and training to beat Goku back in the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament, but that didn't work. There's even more of a gap in power between them now that Golu trained with King Kai. Then, with the Kaioken on top of that, I don't think Piccolo would have caught up to Goku, and he probably woukd have been intelligent enough top see that, too, so he'd take his chance to kill him when he could.

I still think it's possible for Gero to make the androids, especially if he just shut himself inside of his lab after the red ribbon army was defeated. While Piccolo would be hunting down the humans, I don't think he'd find Gero before the androids were activated.

Yeah, I'd assume the Kami fusion is enough of a boost to let him defeat Frieza, especially since he wouldn't let him transform into his final form. Regardless, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

Are you telling me-- If I become one with Kami again, then I could even surpass that bastard Freeza's power?!" Nail: "Yes... This video was over a year ago, but I mentioned in another comment that, unfortunately, I wasn't able to go back and fix it for this video, but the issue was eventually corrected in later videos.

Probably not, since a lot of what caused him to grow as a character started with him turning good.

I don't remember a thing where 16 blew up imperfect Cell, I just remembered where they fought. Anyway, in this scenario, if 16 didn't kill Cell, it's likely just to continue to the Cell Games where it normally did. Though with a lack of 16 being there, it could easily go bad, since he was the one that got Gohan to transform into a Super Saiyan 2. Though, maybe he does still transform if Cell follows through on his original plan of having the Cell Jr.'s kill Gohan's friends.

Oh, that's fine. But yeah, if he can't blow up Cell, things likely stay the same as the usual Cell Games. The only change would be that it might be Gohan's friends dying could be the thing to get him to transform. The fight with Cell and Gohan likely goes the same as in the manga/anime, so Goku would still sacrifice himself. You also still get Hercule claiming he beat Cell. After that, things would line up more with the actual series since a dead Goku means Majin Vegeta would happen. So, Buu is likely revived, and that saga would stay mostly the same as usual. So, in my opinion, him not being able to kill Cell has less changes than where 16 was able to kill Cell.

I disagree. Yamcha being evil does still put him in Puar in the position to cut off Goku's tail. They were still going to follow Goku and Bulma regardless since that was their original plan, so they'd still be at Pilaf's Castle. They just wouldn't be captured like Goku and the other heroes were. As for the Saiyan Saga, I don't see Tien or Krillin dying against one of the Saibamen. Yamcha was cocky and underestimated his opponent, hence his death. Krillin and Tien aren't the type personality wise to get cocky like that, so they wouldn't make the same mistake as Yamcha. I still see Krillin killing many of them on his own with the Scatter Kamehameha regardless of if Yamcha was there or not. Anyway, in your version of the scenario, things probably fall apart way earlier. If Goku killed Bulma while he was a Great Ape (and since she had the dragon radar, it was likely crushed), he can't really search for the dragon balls to revive them. So, assuming he still takes on the Red Ribbon Army, that means Goku would even up dying in the fight against Mercenary Tao, since he wouldn't have the Dragon Ball with him to accidentally protect himself from the Dodon Ray.

@@chaoticicedtea Yeah, in my vision things end poorly really fast, but in the Sayan Saga, Krillin only used the rage boost Scatter Kamehameha because Yamcha died, you can rewatch that scene again. Not only that, but Krillin stated that Yamcha probably insisted on going first because he probably felt that something bad was about to happen. And if don't fail my memory, in the anime Krillin itself said it would probably be him dead if Yamcha wouldn't had gone first. A weaker Krillin(because of the lack of Yamcha as training partner) and Tenshihan would certainly die to the first saibamen fight. The problem is that Yamcha cockiness was fruit of the "world martial artist" mentality that the Z-Fighters had at the moment(excluding only Gohan and Piccolo), so any other Z-Fighters would have felt for the "play dead and explode" trick until one of them died.

@TheGotreck basing off of what it was in the manga (which is what I followed when writing this), they saw a Saibamen almost attack Tien from behind before Yamcha died. It was purely Vegeta killing that Saibamen for failing that saved Tien from meeting a similar fate. Though I think since they aren't cocky, this would have been enough to teach them not to let their guards down. Even if Krillin doesn't kill them out of anger with the Scatter Kamehameha, they'd probably just repeat the process of killing them separately until they're all taken out. So, it still doesn't change the end result, in my opinion. We've never seen Krillin or Tien show off the same cockiness as Yamcha, so I don't think they'd put their guards down.

Yeah, it sucks that not much really changes with his removal. But I am happy with how I gave him a happier ending, along with doing something with Launch, since nothing happened with her in the original story, either.

@@chaoticicedtea Ya know, ironically, I think this was a happier ending for Yamcha than what he got in the original timeline. He got to stay with Launch, didn't get blown up by the Saibaman, didn't get pierced by Dr Gero, didn't get snubbed for the Tournament of Power, and didn't stay alone with Puar. It's kinda ironic, but not meeting Goku might be the best thing that happened to Yamcha, lol!

Even if they are slightly weaker in the Saiyan Saga, it doesn't really change anything in the long run since Goku would still show up to save the day. Also, two of the main heroes in that saga, Piccolo and Gohan, would still be the same strength regardless, since they didn't train with the other heroes.

I couldn't think of anyone else to pair him with since he remained a bandit, so that's why I chose Launch.

So my next longer what if series is about Chi-Chi becoming the God of Destruction. So, I don't know if I'll do another idea like that right after, but I'll definitely keep it on my list of suggestions and see what I can do.

I mentioned in the video I was trying to keep it at least somewhat similar to how I think Toriyama would have written it. Even if he still had Gohan be the one to defeat Buu, he mentioned he didn't think Gohan was suited for being the lead. So, I still think he'd have brought Goku back even under these circumstances.

I personally don't think he would he able to. With a living body, the strain of super saiyan and kaioken combined would likely hasten his death without him being able to pull off any significant attack against Cell.

I think you misunderstood. Gohan's not the world martial arts champion at that time. He's the literal "world champion." Like, the savior of the world since he defeated Cell. If you watch later into the video, I mention that Hercule was still the world martial arts tournament champion at the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament.

Yeah, I mentioned in the one ending that Zeno would step in at some point. The two branches based around Zamasu making a wish for Zeno's body before he tried to intervene or not. It's hard to tell how long it would take Zeno to intervene, though. If we're using the original timeline as a reference, Zeno didn't step in to do anything against Zamasu until Goku used the button to summon him. So, that applies that he either didn't care to some extent or he wasn't paying attention for a long time. That's the only reason I did 2 endings since I couldn't decide if Zamasu would wish for Zeno's body before Zeno intervened or not. Though, I also wanted to explore what I thought would have happened in the two different outcomes.

I don't think so. Based on power level statements from back then, Vegeta on Planet Vegeta was stronger than King Vegeta. While we don't have an exact power level for the king, Bardock, when he had a power level of 10,000, was told his power is getting close to the king's power level. So, if kid Vegeta has a power level of 10,000, when he's 17 (as he would be around the time he comes to Earth in this timeline), he'd be stronger than 10,000 but weaker than 18,000, his power level in the Saiyan Saga. At most, the heroes aren't going to be able to do anything to him. Goku only had like a power level of 10 in the Emperor Pilaf Saga, so that's 100 as a Great Ape. Kami was the highest, with his power statements ranging anywhere from 220 to 400. None of the heroes in this saga are even anywhere near as strong as they were in the Saiyan Saga. So, even with everyone combined, they aren't going to be anywhere near Vegeta in power. Even if they somehow did press his in power, he'd easily be able to finish them all as a Great Ape.

I don't really think there'd be a reason Vegeta would listen to her. Like I mentioned in the video, he didn't have any of the normal character development that would have made him stay on the earth or give him the motivation to stay there.

@chaoscateriano7170 Yes, and I mentioned he'd rebel against Frieza eventually. Though he'd still know at the time he couldn't do anything agaisnt Frieza, so it's better to keep towing the line and pretending to be loyal instead of starting a premature rebellion and guaranteed death being the outcome. While I didn't talk about his rebellion on its own, I did mention in the video how no one would be able to overthrow Frieza. Basically, I imagined Vegeta's rebellion would happen sometime after the destruction of Namek and before Babidi's arrival on Earth.

As explained in the video, simply by sheer luck and gag moments (as Hercule is prone to have), I do think they'd survive long enough to be absorbed by Buu.

By the time they arrived on Earth, Tagoma was already done explaining that he's Ginyu. Though, if Bonyu did somehow learn that information, I don't think it would really change much. Bonyu had a change of heart and was good, so if Ginyu tried anything like trying to convince her to come to his side again, it would have just ended the same way. I guess it could be a neat interaction, though.

@@chaoticicedtea I really appreciated that you went into describing their personalities, a lot of what if channels don't realize how important the personalities are when it comes to the fusions and what decisions they make.

@@chaoticicedtea honestly your videos are some of my favorite, you get into the nuance of the characters and really try to build off their character, so much fan fiction is purely fan service, it's nice to see someone who actually thinks about the characters beyond surface level understanding.

There's no statement saying he can or can't fuse with someone unconscious. But when Goku listed out reasons he couldn't fuse with the others, he specifically mentioned that Tien was unconscious. So, while it isn't a direct statement, it seems to imply that they can't fuse with an unconscious person.

​@@chaoticicedtea Decent point. But Goku's still a novice in potarra knowledge, as he just learned about it. For all we know Goku was jumping to conclusions, as was wrong.

@BrianAwesome even if it theoretically could work, it'd be a bad idea to try. To put the earring on an unconscious Tien, he'd be letting his guard down so Buu would have the chance to absorb him.

They'd be one pure hearted Saiyan short for the Super Saiyan God thing in the Buu Saga. For Cabba, I don't see him being a Super Saiyan earlier changing a lot in the story. I can try taking the others into consideration.
