Very unique band. I vaguely recall them having some connection with the Flintstones back in the early 90s, i was about 4 or something, first time i ever knew about them.
Mike perfectly described the excitement of getting a new album and bringing it home, putting it on your turntable and then sitting there listening to the entire thing while reading the liner notes and lyrics. Sometimes there would be a poster inside as well. Good old days.

I'm no expert but imo Chilliwack is highly under-rated and under-appreciated. Incredibly excellent songwriting and production even 40+ years ago was always well ahead of its time. It's a shame we lost Brian so early. Cudos to you Bill for your contributions to Canadian music - it stands right up there with everything else globally!!! Love you!!
I would really like to see that bands would “hire” someone to record the show with a cell phone or any camera and have it for free online do people to see later and put their phones down… would people like that and would they enjoy the show more - I think so

I just watched Burton Cummings interview with @TheProfessorOfRock talk about how American Woman came to be, and now Randy Bachman tells almost the same story. It was never an anti-war song. It was never a song about not liking Americans. They were just lyrics made up on the spot to a riff Randy was playing to check his guitar strings. And it went to no. 1. Excellent song and story from both gentlemen. I wish Randy had've turned the music down a notch cos it was hard trying to listen to him speak.
